Z4M & The Used Market

Of course that excludes cars like the Lotus Elise/Exige, TVR and any lightweight carbon-fibre thing, but after seeing what happens to one of those in a crash I've always considered them a little unsafe...

But you don't necessarily get all the creature comforts in those for the same price - plus you'd have to park near an electric socket if you had a TVR just to keep the battery conditioner on :thumbsdown:

The Elise & Exige are no where near as practical as the Z4MC and you wouldn't want to do more than 100 miles in an Exige - plus you'll need an MP3 player for all the noise you get in the cabins of both of them.
 
I see the credit crunch has done nothing for the Z8 prices!! :o

I don't get those Z8 prices, the car looks ugly to me, it got slated by Clarkson (doesn't mean much I know but hey), and it's not much quicker than a Z4M and no faster than an M3 CSL. What am I missing?
 
rarity. they were £80,000 on the nose when new, always thought they'd hold their value very well.

only 9,400 miles too.. seems a shame to not drive it.. id love one, absolutely beautiful from sooo many angles, & that interior puts the z4 completely to shame.

Plus doesn't the Z8 pull its chassis to bits, I remember reading about that somewhere :scratchhead:

Posing & Money Retention - Z8 (but not driving as miles means £'s big time)....

Thats a 55 though...as far as I have seen:

06s : £39k - £45k
07s : £45k - £52k

...which is already good but if he knows of some 08s for £50k, that would be something else...
 
Totally unreal.

My choice would be a 997S at low 30's....

House market prices increased for the first time in Jan - maybe this is the bottom we've reached. Total bargains out there!

hmmm you might be right.. i got 28k from memory and asked the dealer, he just kinda agreed at 28 but i got the feeling he wasn't really listening anyway.

will we see it around ? :)
 
Not sure who bought it. It may have gone to another dealer as that wasn't selling! I myself am not a fan of Z4's in red (sorry) and I find the all black interior a bit bland, but that's just me.! :)
