How come you're selling Tom? I'd love these but can't afford currently (trackdays come first lol) and I'm concerned with the race cats it would be hideously loud....!

I'm keeping my SS race ones, much as I prefer the sound and look of these powerloops (80vs70mm tips) it's all about the weight for my car so they've got to go.
They are not particularly loud so I have no doubt they'd be fine even with a 100 cell cat (I've had no issues with my race ones which really are LOUD(mind you I haven't been to Thruxton in this car)). Treat yourself next year maybe, I can't see them going anywhere quickly as I appreciate it's probably not the best time of year to try sell a £2k exhaust :D

Apologies for going off topic, what are you guys running as race cats? The only ones I’ve seen are ridiculously expensive.

Tom, they do look good - GLWTS

so tempted! i want out of my RPI race.... such a shame as they are so light...... the noise does my head in!

Let me know when you’ve finally had enough - track day noise restrictions are more lenient here, so I’d like to hear how noisy they really are

Hi @TomK, will these go onto my standard Z4MC without fitting issues, whats the deal do they need to be welded to a need to mod anything. I am completely standard but always wanted an aftermarket exhaust to match the carbon intake.

Cheers Tom

No, definitely no welding required, just sleeved and clamped. I think I have what you'll need spare, I'll have to check

.
I'm just running the standard cat at the moment, if I was to go to a lower cell count I'd probably just get a decent cat and have it welded in place of the original. As you say the SS/Miltek and the like are a bit pricey for what they are.

That sounds reasonable. It’s on my list but further down than several more important mods such as forced induction, better seats and a short shift kit...

i run 100 CELL... never passes MOT.

That’s annoying! The guys who do my annual safety check know my car well, so don’t look too hard at the mods when inspecting it (ahem), but if the police were offended by the noise and gave me a defect notice then I’d be in trouble...

Thanks for the offer Looney, for the moment I'll say no as I'm not really in a hurry to sell at all.
Cheers
