Z4M style Red Leather Electric Sport Seats with matching door cards *** £750 ***

I have a set of Z4M style Red Leather seats that are electric non heated. The price has gone a little bit silly for these seats as of late and they hardly ever come up in red. Would anyone be interested in doing a swap for basic leather seats plus cash? I was expecting around the £1000 mark based on similar sold prices. These seats are from my Z4 which has covered 78k. Will upload more pics by the end of the week if there's interest. Located in South Wales

If these are indeed "Z4M" seats, then you may well get your £1k ask

Equally, the Z4 Sports seats - sat in my own Z4M, are fully electric & also, HEATED ...These, are the NON HEATED variants

Personally, if I was selling these, I'd freely be posting images of BOTH seats and the bolsters on both seats. Purely, to display clarity, of what potential buyers are purchasing...

I do remember from when I was looking for seats, there were several replies from Z4M owners who did NOT have the embossed ///M logo on the headrests, just to confuse matters.

When I'm unsure on the price, i always tend to go higher than what I think instead of under pricing. I didn't quite appreciate the nuances regarding the Z4M seats but will update my listing accordingly. I will take a few more pics over the weekend if anyone is interested.

Mine are genuine (from new), and don't have the embossed headrest but I believe that was due to being an Individual car.

There’s a seam on the bolsters that the m cars don’t have on the seats, these seats have that seam so I’d say they were m sport seats but not out of an m car

My build sheet has option 'S711A M SPORTSITZE FUER FAHRER/BEIFAHRER M Sports seats' - wonder what the option code is for embossed seats?

Some sport seats also have the 'waffle' pattern on the seat backs (at about shoulder height).

Maybe they just emboss some colours and not others?

I had the "individual" champagne in a ZM & like yours they had no ///M logo but all 3 ZMs ive had with black interiors have had the stamp , i'm also pretty sure ZMs with the imola trim got the logo in headrest

Yep.

Nevertheless, these don’t come up in red with the door cards very often, so I don’t blame the OP for being a little punchy with the price. Plus, the funds will come in handy for treating future back pain...

From what i have seen the seats with the embossed logo have different stitching around the headrest part of the seat, its like a double stitched seam that goes around the top section and different/no bolster stitching as previously mentioned. This I've seen in Black, Red and in Taz's Sepang ///M not sure what colour is of his seats are. All the ///M Individual interiors i have seen the seats look more like the sports seats shown here for sale, with the headrest section having the leather edge wrapped around at the front as opposed stitched. Both styles very nice, just subtly different. Hope this helps.

Yeah, well my Genuine M seats don't have the embossed logo either. Being Genuine M seats, they must be worth a packet

My M Coupe was built in October 2006 and has the "Walknappa" Imola Red seats, complete with the M logo and no seams on the bolsters, but they don't look as "red" as these (if that makes sense).

Imola Red doesn't seem to have been an option on non-M models - it looks to me like Dream Red Oregon leather was the only red available.

Mind you red seats with door cards don't seem to appear often anyway and I'm sure I've seen M-Sport seats priced higher on Ebay!

Z4 M's had the option of Individual Nappa leather in various colours,which Didn't come with the M embossing.
I always found that odd when I was looking,and something I think they should have had, didn't understand why t hey couldn't do the M logo on the Individual M sport seats.
AFAIK,you could spec up Individual seats ,heated or non heated on 3.0i m-sport spec cars,looking back on old info from old sales brochures,etc from my previous z4.

For anyone interested please see further pictures of the interior. There is minor wear on the bolster as to be expected but these have never been treated so that could help.

Thanks Lynchy. I'm really at a crossroads on this. I'm trying to generate as much money for my next purchase e86 or e89. My car has loads of extras like the seats, oem strut, cup holders with low mileage (78k) 3.0 manual. I think only the pureists will pay extra for these so I'm thinking of selling all the extra options then sell the car.

OK, I have now sourced standard black leather seats as a replacement so the red seats are good to go without any swaps etc. I will also be putting these up on ebay once they have one of their £1 final fees offer. I'm looking for £1000 but will consider near offers.

i think if they were heated you'd be close to 1k but unheated thats a fairly big ask.. good luck though someone might fancy them at close to ask
