Z4M style front splitters for facelifted Z4's

Pretty slick for those who have the facelifted front. And you get to keep your OEM foglights. But I don't think the brake ducts function like the real ///M bumper though, unless you somehow cut them out.

31,500 Japanese yen = $313.96 U.S. dollars. Yikes!

or is it 50,400 Japanese yen = $502.34 U.S. dollars. YIKES!!

Looks pretty sweet, better then the original z4m bumper. My car didn't come with fog lights so sadly I'll have to continue my search for a z4m bumper.

Great find GP20 I'm loving those

Devil is in the detail and the telling fact for me will be how well they fit between the end of the foglight and wheel arch.

They are added straight to my shopping list.
When I get out of this hotel with low speed internet I need to look up EU suppliers and real prices to get them to the UK.

I'm sure a bit of ingenuity could get some sort of brake ducts working if wanted.

Somehow I just knew these would be on your list before I even got to the bottom of the thread

They do look like a well thought out design. I really quite like them.
Isn't the M bumper meant to be slightly higher than the regular bumper? or is the facelift bumper higher than the original too?
If it's lowering it even more you may need to be extra careful with speed bumps

Look very nice. Cheaper and easier than replacing the original one with aerodynamic kit. I tried to google Gurt but hard to find more about it.

My Japanese is very limited, but I think the splitters themselves are ¥50,400. If you want them to come painted, it's an additional ¥26,250 for non-metallic color, or ¥31,500 for metallic color.

¥50,400, or $503 USD doesn't sound to me like it's worth it when the OEM Z4M front bumper is available and probably slightly cheaper. But I guess those front splitters make sense if you absolutely want to retain the fog-lights, and would rather not have to remove the front bumper. Painting just the splitters should be cheaper than painting an entire front bumper, too.

I just thought I'd post this info in the first place 'cos it was interesting and at least another option for the face-lifted Z4's. BMW's have always been popular in Japan and especially the Z4's. It's just funny how it seems like the aftermarket support for the Z4/Z4M is bigger in Japan than in the U.S. Companies in the U.S. don't seem like they want to be bothered to develop parts for the Z4/Z4M.

As far as fitment goes, the company's pretty well known in Japan. Besides, it's Japanese engineering so you know they'll most likely fit without issue.

Have Googled Gurt Racing Sports and have come up the following website

http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://store.shopping.yahoo.co.jp/parts-mall/e85-z4-ls.html&ei=lsrhSdy5MOW7jAf1nZjUDQ&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=4&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dgurt%2Bracing%2Bsports%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

they work out at £343 and as previously stated require painting, no sign of any other links, there is a contacts tab which may be worth ago.

Buying directly from Gurt in Japan may be the only way to get them.

Well guys if those prices are about right, then it looks a bit expensive by the time you add shipping across half the globe, UK import duty plus the hassle of dealing with such a different language then I'm out.

I reckon for that sort of money then you could get something custom made in the UK, or of course just pick up an ///M bumper and fit that

I would think the price would go way down once they realize that they are overpriced for what they are and they are not selling well. They should be selling for about 125USD per side. I hope a USA distributor gets some and sells them for a reasonable price.

Sorry... gonna poo poo on this one.

It definitely changes the look dramatically, but when seen in close proximity... well, those attachment lines are somewhat bothersome. It's not as evident on darker examples, but pretty clear on the light coloured Z4s.

Bloody expensive too!

imo i prefer the Z4M front. I dont like how these protrude from the side - unless you got them blended into the stock bumper.

For the cost it would be cheaper to buy an M front from a brakers - i have seen them go in eBay for less then £100 with minor correctable damage.
