Z4M service advice please

I’ve got a service due in 8000 miles according to the dash display but I’ve had the Zed a year and want to keep my w/e use only Z4MC in tip top shape.

The service stamps say the last one was done at 26493 on the 28.3.14 and it was an oil service, brake fluid and micro filter but not an inspection 1 or 2. Previously an inspection 1, brake fluid and micro filter service was done. This was on 5.3.12 at 24047.

Current mileage is 31000.

Any advice on an interim would be appreciated.

Looks like the oil service on the 28.3.14 was based on the owner's guide recommended 2 year oil service minimum.

There's nothing to stop you doing an Inspection every year if that makes you feel more comfortable.

I'd not do anything now, just stick to the oil changes every 2 years, then do the inspections based on mileage. The only thing I'd do is check when the brake fluid was last done and have it replaced if it's due.

EDIT: Doh, just read that brake fluid was done last year too. Do nothing IMO :)
 
Nothing required, but do what you feel comfortable with.

Always amazes me that on new cars, the brake fluid is good for 3 years and then it needs replacing every other year … weird.

As above, nothing required for a year or 8k, which ever comes first.
