Yeah but that's frigging ugly too.

I would rather a George foreman grill on my dash than the BMW sat nav.

As a registered health and safety practitioner it is my professional and ethical duty to advise you that it would be safer to use a Maccy D drivethru than attempt any en route dash top burger preparation.

I find the M specific satnav is fantastic

I wonder what the normal satnav is like...?

Ha! I suppose yours has an adjustment programmed into the firmware for calculating earlier arrival times?

Considering my car is over 11 years old the nav is pretty damn impressive.

If you don't take that into consideration it's complete helmet cheese.

Although one of the colour schemes now does make sense, where as with my old car I though it looked wrong. Amazing the difference white dials make.

Ah yes, those were the days when I was visiting the factory often in Ireland for a project for two years.

Security was h-u-g-e.

I tried the blue the other day. It disturbed me

What colours are there? I thought only blue and brown? Brown looks weird to me?

I find it works well with new maps, full postcode search and speed camera alerts!

What annoys me about it is it doesn't auto dip the brightness when it goes dark.

Blue and orange/brown. And yeah, I'd quite like a night dimming function...

If you go off OEM, I will have my 2012 disk back thanks :D

If I go off OEM it'll be getting sold mate

But I won't be. That way trauma lies...

Got a 2006 disc you can have though :P

I have a 2008 - next time you are here I will swap it and give the 2012 to my dad for his X3 :P

I'll have my 2014 disc in that day 8)

I suppose you could have the 2012 one for, say £70...
