z4m rpi gt race exhaust vids

nahh it wont piss me off, its really is a strictly weekend car so its more of an event if you get me! im really happy with it but im warning others its extremely loud, ga41 will no way be able to take it every day, no way. aparantly in the coupe due to the accoustic differences inside its massively louder causing sonic vibrations ect ect

Nah i think i'll be fine. Everyone already consider me a hooligan now i'll just sound like one too.

when is yours installed? are you doing it yourself? if you need any hints or tips then be my guest to drop a pm. you wont believe the weight of the new vs old, thats probably the best part about this system. you will love it ga41 i can tell you after some hard use it DOES mellow out quite abit so get on it!!

It should already be here actually but you can always trust on the Cypriot postal system to screw up even the best of plans.

Will be getting it installed probably this week (if i have it in my hands by tomorrow for example) and it will be fitted by the local BMW dealership. They'll be installing my UUC short shift kit which requires the mid pipe to be removed so i might as well have them put on the exhausts as well. I know labour costs might be rather high compared to other small local garages but this being my first mod i'd rather take it to them. The technicians there seem knowledgeable and are quite eager to work on the car.

ga41 just to let you no the system is very hard to get adjusted up first time round so make sure your shop gets it right otherwise due to the different shaped tips it looks more out of line than it is if you get me, i spent 2 hrs getting mine perfect with a tape measure ect ect

Just picked mine up about an hour ago and OH MY GOD! This is thing is fucking loud! If you didnt know any better you'd think they're straight pipes!

Just recovering from the shock but to be honest i dont know how i feel about it yet. It sounds very aggressive when stepping on the gas, popping and crackling on part throttle and on the overrun (which is awesome) but so loud that it almost completely drowns out any engine note (which sucks). I could live with it easily but the loss of that glorious engine note really, really saddens me...

Any way to also make the engine sound louder...?

Well for the money i payed you bet your ass it's staying on! I just hope it quiets down a bit in the future so i can hear that six again.. :(

Here's a picture to wet your appetites.
