Respectfully, Rob..

...After, over 48hrs and not seeing any visible responses on your forum Wanted thread, I suspect your requirements with a £14k budget, for "a well cared for" Z4M Roadster - could potentially, be one of the prevailing issues.. :?

...Prices of cherished & cared for, Z4M roadsters have been strong in more recent months, from what I've seen - both here on the Forum, on PH & AT etc..
Equally: Asking prices of Z4M Coupes, have been even stronger also..

You never know, in the coming deeper winter months if someone will come out of the shadows & pop up - with a car, within your budget & requirements however?
Best of luck with your search

Hi Rob you ought to be able to find an MR within your budget even if it may have done some miles, which isn't necessarily a problem if it has been cherished and cossetted - and after all that is what you are looking for!

It's certainly the right time of year to be looking for a Roadster, so I hope you manage to find a good one.

Agreed on potentially finding a Z4MR within budget

However, it might also be beneficial if the OP declares, what his ideal max' speedo mileage might be, in a perfect world also?

Thanks guys for the advice. I know if I wait then the right car will come along, especially as the better weather is on its way.
I have seen this on Autotrader. Looks well looked after.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/201908301670600?sort=relevance&model=Z4%20M&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&include-delivery-option=on&make=BMW&advertising-location=at_cars&postcode=hp65le&radius=1500&page=3

This silver Z4MR i owned could well be for sale around your budget Rob , only added a few thousand miles since i sold & i do know the guy who bought it was looking at a GTS Boxster .
As far as i am aware he still has the ZM after trying to sell it via PH late last year , service record on it is exemplary & since i sold it the car has had full KW suspension fitted along with Apex Arc8 alloys .
If interested i can PM his mobile number https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=110302

Think it was on Autotrader as well. I thought it had sold but the owner may of just pulled the listing.

It was good value if you were to look at changing the suspension to V3’s anyway.

That does actually look like a nice clean car in the pics with the only issues being the steering wheel buttons and a bit of wear on the gear knob.
The reason I am mentioning this is that the garage is a few miles from me and normally anything within a few hundred miles are buckets of s**t not worth looking at.

That has been up for sale for ages. Don't know why, but bear in mind if you go looking at it.

I haven't been able to find the dates either, so would love to know!

Meanwhile maybe this might be a good option:

Once you’re in the advert it you click on the word Autotrader in the address bar it’ll bring the url up.

When you do this and it displays the url code the first batch of numbers are the date that advert went live in reverse order, so this one is 20190830 = 30/08/2019. Always a good thing to know before you start bartering for a car imo.

Many thanks.

It's definitely worth knowing before you get haggling!

Much easier to find on Rightmove though.

Seems reasonable but....Jesus, what are those M badges near the rear wheels! That would be coming straight off, look ridiculous!

This one went up for sale today:- https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202101278400380?sort=datedesc&model=Z4%20M&onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&make=BMW&postcode=gu470za&advertising-location=at_ca

The price looks good if you don't mind some higher miles (and plenty of black)!
