Z4M Roadster ***SOLD***

Having only owned it since April, unfortunately a new business venture means that it's time to sell my Z4 M.

Supplied from 3 months old, specifically ordered for the previous owner (registered 22/08/06), it has full service history (including the running in service), with the last two being done at a BMW specialist.
An Inspection II was carried out in November 2011, and the next service will be the basic oil service, due in 5,600 miles. (update 25/2/13 - due in 2,800 miles)
I bought the car with 49,000 miles on. It now has 57,500, and hasn't used a drop of oil while I've had it.

Specification is as follows -

Black Sapphire Metallic / Imola Red Leather / Carbon leather dashboard
'M' standard specification includes parking sensors, xenons, multi function wheel and auto dimming mirror

Factory Options -
Extended storage (map pockets, pocket in passenger footwell, cup holders)
Bluetooth
Heated Seats
Carver Premium Sound with DSP
CD/DVD Changer
Professional Navigation
Ipod adapter
Remote Roof Operation
Wind deflector

It also had a Tracker fitted by BMW

Last year it had a rear brake replacement with geniune parts - Discs, Pads, Handbrake shoes

Tyres are correct specification M3 Conti Sport.

With the intention of keeping the car for a while I have done the following:

Full wheel refurbishment to the OEM paint code by alloy art
New wheel badges and stickers
Weighted four wheel alignment
Simpson Motorsport braided brake line kit
New front pads
Millers 300 Plus brake fluid change
Valve clearance check, with report print out (it had been done at the Inspection II, but I like to make sure that my cars are mechanically spot on)
Front bumper respray to remove stone chips
Autoglym hood renovator and protector
Navigation disc upgrade to 2011 maps and birds eye view

Cosmetically the car looks very good, and the interior is in great condition with no significant wear to the drivers seat. It has been clayed, polished and waxed with Dodo Juice Blue Velvet, and the interior has been cleaned and conditioned with gliptone products. The only mark worthy of mention is small scratch on the back bumper about 2cm long.

With almost any used car there is always some expenditure needed as soon as you buy it that the owner has left because they are selling. The expensive 'M' bits have all been recently done on this, and I've spent money on it with the intention of keeping it. My number plate is coming off.

£12,450

Thanks. Im tempted to keep it, but there's a good chance that I'll need to release the cash tied up in it just after Christmas and I'd rather not be pressured into a quick sale.

Are xenons not standard on the M?

I've now reduced my car to £12,445.

Spent the weekend driving my wife's 328i trying to accept that I'll no longer have a 343hp Roadster at my disposal...

I removed the other adverts for my car and decided to keep it for a bit longer, but having checked the mileage last week it's only on 58,500 - Less than 1,000 miles since August!

With the intention of keeping it I put new Continentals on the back in December, and when I'm back home at the end of next week I'll get a fresh m.o.t. and send the paperwork off to the dvla to put my plate on retention.

So, £12,450 as before, and probably available from about 11th March.

Any takers?

James

Z4M-2006  this could be just the thing to medicate his recent ailment ,
Price & car both look great James & with the recent stampede of M sales i doubt you will have yours very long

Given that the original advert is six months old, I had a few minutes spare at work and pulled the car out of the car park and took some fresh shots. I've also had the small mark on the bumper rectified.

A bit of a random question but where was this photo taken?

GLWTS by the way

It's the D918 south of Lourdes. I drive through Europe quite a lot and this is probably my favourite road, particularly before 8am on a summer's day, when there is nobody about apart from the odd farmer and his cattle. Far more enjoyable than the hyped up passes in the Alps, particularly if you link it with the N-260 and drive across the Pyrennes to Barcelona.

Even though I think I've already priced the car fairly, I'm loosing use of garaged parking and don't want to leave it 24/7 on the street, so I'm reducing the price to £12,000.

Any takers?

Beautiful car...

Bargain price..

Is this advertised anywhere else ?

On Pistonheads and Autotrader.
I have access to a lot of interesting cars at one of my places or work (http://www.landmarkcars.co.uk), with values way in excess of the Z4M and it's not out of its depth when comparing enjoyment and character, so yes, it is a bargain!
