The time has now come for me to sell my Z4MR. Put simply, my Z3M can no longer be dry stored where it is and has to come home, meaning there is no room for the Z4 anymore. I also purchased an Alfa 4C recently so now i definitely don't have room!

I bought this car 18 months ago with the plan of keeping for a long time alongside a Z4M. It floated around discussions on the forums for a while as it had a large price drop overnight and I took the plunge buying it blind and having it delivered to my doorstep without seeing it. It was exactly as described and in the time I’ve had it I’ve been mostly been spending money getting it up together (around £5000 now) and to my taste, typically now for the new owner to enjoy and not me.
I managed 3 excellent road trips which was the exact reason I bought it and it was completely faultless. If I had the room it would be staying.
The car has a full history mostly through BMW main dealers and a few at specialist, the details of which I will post up in full when I am home tomorrow. I have a folder full of previous MOT’s and invoices. I even tracked down a couple of previous adverts for the car I have saved.
I am the 8th owner
Since its purchase I have completed the following…
• Inspection 2 carried out at Dick Lovett BMW Bristol Nov 18 – all clear
• New rear brake light unit (cracked)
• Replaced boot struts
• Fitted ZHP gearstick
• Fitted Genuine win deflector
• Replaced M badges (stickers)
• 4 wheel alignment
• Replaced wiper blades with Aero’s
• Replaced LED number plate bulbs
• Fitted interior LED lights (white)
• Updated navigation software
• Fitted Stubby aerial
• Fitted genuine Schnitzer Pedals
• Refurbished and fitted ABS pump (known fault with warning lights)
• Purchased genuine CSL alloys and refurbished
• Fitted 4x Michelin Pilot Sports
• Refurbished the steering wheel button surrounds (peeling)
• Hardwired Bluetooth music streaming
I am in the process of booking the car in for a fresh MOT and having the brake hoses replaced which has been an advisory on the last few MOT's so i don't expect this to be done for a couple of weeks or so.
If I was keeping the car there a few remaining bits I would want to finish which were on my list this year.
• Small scratch on n/s wing mirror housing
• Glove box hinge broken (I’ve just put up with for the cost of replacing)
• Couple of marks in the driver’s door card leather and drivers seat bolster
• 3 days after I refurbished all 4 wheels, I clipped one – about 1cm.
• Stone chips on the front bumper as you’d expect
Very occasionally one of the windows drops back down after the roof is put back up - i just put them back up on the button
I think that covers most points but feel free to drop me a PM, text, call etc.
I have it advertised elsewhere at £14,750 but would prefer to be sold to a forum member after all the work i have been doing in my ownership.
