Z4M Roadster or Coupe Wanted

Hi

I am looking for a Z4M, I don't mind if it is a Roadster or a Coupe, I think both have their merits. I used to, a long time ago run an S50 Z3M Roadster, I'm looking to return to the fold.

I looked at one this weekend which wasn't for me, the others involve serious travel. Before I go and drive 400 miles, if anyone on the forum has a car they'd consider selling, or knows someone selling a cracking car please let me know.

My wish list really is:
- not black
-50,000 miles or less
- FSH
- matching tyres if possible

Good luck in the hunt , you aren't asking for the moon on a stick so can't see a problem if budget is realistic , not sure id rule a car out that didn't have matching tyres though :)
 
Hi Mark

Understand travel is a barrier when going to look at cars which don't always meet expectations. Where are you based, as that may help people on here recommend some cars. Also an indication of budget may encourage some closet sellers out into the open for you.

I am planning on selling mine. Was planning on putting up an ad in a few weeks. Car is under cover in the garage at the moment so difficult to get pictures. I can send you over some more detailed info but basics are :

Z4m coupe
38000 miles
Full BMW service history including inspection two just over 12 months ago.
Interlagos blue
Still under BMW extended warranty which can be continued
Located in Leeds

Fair point re the tyres I guess! The car I saw at the weekend had some unbranded tyres which put me off, although best I don't go down that rabbit hole!

Very good point, I'm based in London, happy to travel for the right car, I've seen on AT a couple in Yorkshire which if they were good examples is fine, I'll just make a weekend of it!

Was the car at a dealer? We know they love to chuck on the cheapest tyres they can.

Before travelling, its always worth posting a link to the cars you are interested in on here and someone may have already viewed it / know it and will be able to give you a rough steer before hand. If you are really lucky, someone local might even be prepared to give it a once over before you travel up and save you a trip, but that normally would cost you a cup of tea and a bacon butty!
 
I may potentially look at selling my 08 M coupe with 55k on the clock as a car I’ve had my eye on for a while has come up for sale.
Immaculate condition, in silver grey, with red leather, tasteful modifications.
I’m based in Berkshire.

It was an indy garage, I was fairly surprised to see it shod with unknown tyres!

That is a very good point, whilst it wasn't 3 hours wasted at the weekend, it's fair to say I could have probably spent my time better. A cup of tea and a bacon butty would be money well spent :)

Thanks to everyone for their posts and private messages, I have now sourced a car (collected today) and I am back behind the wheel of an 'M'.

It was a Z4-Forum car so it is being kept within the family. :driving:
