Z4M Roadster For Sale - SOLD

You changed your post

Yep. Thought it sounded a little too keen for a car that I haven't seen, plus my missus doesn't look happy. I would obviously need to speak to Steve before agreeing to take the car etc.

It looks a stunning car,I'm not surprised your keen.I would be to but it's not the right time at the moment.Good luck though

Cheers for all the comments. As mentioned by Darren above, I've priced it keenly to ensure (hopefully) a hassle free sale and free up space for the new car. I'm far from being desperate to sell, but I'd sooner it not be stuck around here with the new one arrives, as I'll quickly run out of space!

As of now, the car has been removed from sale pending a viewing this coming weekend. Should it not sell for whatever reason, expect to see it back up on here!

Cheers

Steve

Looks very nice indeed.

That's not even £2K more than I recently paid for my 3.0Si.

I think it's "a lot too cheap" when you consider this one is up for sale at £4K more?

If that's a legit advert its a forum car.

Mark's car that.

Yes fellas Dan is right, it is my car.

Unfortunately I have degenerative knee problems coupled with Arthritis. Driving for any length of time is becoming a real problem, & I will need further surgery post May 2015.
My last knee op was November 2014, (6 in total to-date) just after I bought the car. I had hoped for better news, but a further scan, & advice from the Orthopaedic Surgeon confirmed further damage.

I've put the car on Pistonheads for the moment, as the car is currently garaged on the CTEK conditioner, & I have been unable to get her out to get some better shots of the interior. It also put's the car out to a slightly larger audience. However the car has done approx 500 miles since I purchased her from Rob in October last October.

Most of the senior members on here know just how lovely a car it is, & how it was fastidiously kept by Rob prior to my purchase...nothing's changed.

The car has been stored in my garage since the beginning of November, awaiting the spring, I have the builders coming this weekend to carry out some NHBC work on the balcony area. This means I will have scaffolding blocking the garage door for two days.
Once the work is done I'll get the car, out, take some further photographs, & prepare a better advert for posting on the forum.

I'm gutted fellas.

Cheers Mark

After an exchange of PM's with Steve, I am viewing the car at the weekend. From where we are I hope I will be the new owner then.

you don't need to prove anything, your asking the right money for a mint car... your doing nothing the market isn't showing right now, if this was up at a dealer thy'd be asking 17500 easily... and sytner sold a red roadster the other week in like 3 days and it was like 18.5k!! it didn't look as nice as this car and probably wasn't loved like yours.

It's a small world - the buyer of the red one negotiated a small discount but they really wanted that exact car so assuming £18k was paid for 30k miles car (it had 29000 from memory) and full years dealer warranty. Quite rare in red too. I've noticed on PH recently that most are black, silvery grey or blue, so there is a premium to be paid for red I think and same for white.

Suprised a bit seller has removed pending a viewing some days off unless viewing means will buy provided nothing dodgy :).
if it falls through I'll be interested at asking price on terms to be discussed (regarding collection/delivery only).
Getting fed up looking so arranginng viewing /test of a new cayman over next few weeks so someone needs to sell to me before I go off to the other side - only kidding! Considering dealers are wanting for example £22k for a near 50k mile 9 year old car with 4 or more previous owners, £45k is looking tempting for a brand new 2.7 cayman with a few performance options, and some carbon interior, which will be fast enough for my needs.

£18.5 asking, plus it would have sold with a official BMW warranty, which a private seller won't be able to offer.

^^^

An "official BMW Warranty" is little, if anything, better than many other decent warranties that one can buy when you actually read the fine print. They are done through a company called Mondial. In my experience, having owned an E46 CSL, is that they are very happy to take your ( very exorbitant) premium but when it comes to actually paying out they will use every slippery trick in the book to prevent it.

Be very aware, that the term "Official Warranty" should be interpreted in a very loose sense.

I have bought 3 years worth of transferable warranty on my Z4 3.0Si....I see no exclusions on it that Mondial also didn't put on my CSL.
