I am selling my cherished Z4M Roadster in Interlagos Blue with black hood. This stunning car has been lovingly cared for regardless of cost and has been a pleasure to own for the past 18 months.

Well first post since new email address. I was previously a member around the time of Zfest last summer but system seems to have forgotten me!

Can't tempt you to upgrade your 3.0si? I had one too prior to the M - but the M is a whole new experience! :driving:
 
Hi Andrew, lovely car was going to ask for pictures but think you have done well on PH. A couple of questions, first how come you are selling such a nice car, and how much does the warranty cost, have you had to use it, and if so on what.

The other question is to the forum, regarding price, is this about right for the mileage? I've been looking and feel the prices advertised are all over the place and am struggling to get a true figure in mind. I know specs and condition can affect it a lot but i still feel I in the dark really! Thanks

Thanks for your interest. I am selling as I am thinking of travelling abroad to work. I have previously done so in the past and always intended to do so again at somepoint. I previously had a 3.0si which I sold and downgraded to a focus with this in mind. However after this I couldnt escape the itch to buy a Z4M despite knowing it would only be a short-term plan.

I bought the car in Jan 2012 and paid extra for the additional two-year warranty as a safety net for when it came to selling again. It cost around £500 at the time, but obviously haggled with the dealer. No sure how much renewal would cost. The only problem I've had was a broken rear coil spring. Apparently a common problem on the M's. Dealer replaced without question. No excess on warranty either.

In terms of prices there does seem to be a significant amount of variation at present, but they have plateaued in the past year or so. I've priced mine competitively as keen to sell rather than hand over to the dealers. I think the variation also represents the fact that some Z4's on the market are particularly tatty and worn (esp seats and interiors). As the pics show mine is in remarkable condition though.
