Hi all.

I am thinking of having one of these made up - I'll do the template myself and then drop it off at a local mat place.

My contact there can stitch in the ///M logo too.

No idea on price yet, but I'd guess at £50 delivered.

Anyone fancy one of these? Oh, and are the Coupe ones the same shape too?

3 years ago I'd have bought one (and even considered getting one from the US), but I've gotten used to not having one, so it's a 'meh' from me :P

The mat I am looking at getting made will look like the one above but the badge will be 6" or so in from the boot edge - so you can see it most of the time.

In addition I was thinking of getting the 'step' velcro'd on the back of the mat so that it is still prenounced.

I'll do the template over the coming weeks and post the pictures up once it has been made.

I would have though that £50-£60 posted would be better that the US price though and the quality will not be any different either based on the quality of the mats I have from this company already.

I'd be interested if they could do a matching set of floor mats, with M logo, especially if the logo is better than most you see on ebay which look like ironed on patches.
 
The M logo' s that they have are embroidered patches that are then sewn onto the mat - much like the 205 GTI/CTI ones above.

Not sure of they have floor ones to match - they could always copy my genuine ones I suppose. I'll check when I see him next.
 
I'll do the template this weekend and drop it off some time next week if I get chance.

I'll post up the pics and prices once I know, for boot mat and floor mats.
 
Right fellas, dropped the template off today and will be trial fitting the cut carpet template next week

I have agreed prices as follow:

For 2 front mats in super velour with heel pad and ///M badge on each - £29.99

Boot mat with ///M badge wherever you want it - I have asked for it in the centre - 6" in from the front edge - £29.99 in standard and £39.99 in super velour.

All prices are plus postage at £8.50 and delivered within 3 days.

wow STU, awesome stuff, will wait on your item and order form your guys, the usa item is too expensive to get over here...... im hoping this item is of the the oem quality and fit.... great price as well.... please post pics when this comes in
 
Hi, I will post pics up once done.

This may be a week or so as I want to check the carpet template fits before he starts making these.

I am having mine in black but I think he has grey and anthracite too.

Regarding fit - I did the template and I have not seen an original close up so hard to compare the 2 really.

Quality-wise, I have had other mats done and really impressed, again without seeing an original it's difficult to tell. That said the price is good and the quality impressed me.
