Z4M Roadster Blue

Hi,

Been looking for a while and missed out on a couple so thought I would post on here.

First ever post and only joined yesterday so hopefully I’ve managed to do this correctly!

I’ve been tempted by a couple of ones for sale at present (albeit not many around in the blue sadly, seem to be quite a few in black available) but I would like to hold out for the right one, being the Interlagos Blue with black leather combo.

I used to own a E85 3.0 before the kids came along, itching to get into an M version now. Ideally I would prefer one with lower mileage (below 60k) as I intend to keep it for a while.

Anyone who is thinking of selling theirs please let me know.

I’ve come across a number of blue ones on my hunt for an Imola Red (the search continues ), the blue is my second choice and thought I’d found an ideal one but unfortunately the owners decided not to sell.

What sort of mileage are you looking for and I’ll keep an eye out.

Hi and welcome OP.

I first went to look at an MC 2 years ago and it was just stunning in Interlagos Blue with Light Sepang leather, but while I dithered someone else bought it. :roll:

Still 6 months later I found my current one with 14K less miles and cheaper. At the end of the day getting an M was more important than the colour, given that less than 600 came to the UK!

Based on that it looks like the UK got 180 Interlagos Blue MRs and 145 MCs so if you start factoring in mileage, interior colours and spec getting exactly what you want might involve a long wait and/or a long trip!

It’s gone 7 years without an oil service then had the vanos rebuilt, feels too big of a risk with wanting the car as a long term keeper otherwise was the perfect car for me.

I do like the red but figured I wanted to hold out for a blue one, as that it is the colour I want. As I say I intend to keep it a long while so may as well wait until the right one comes along.

Thanks, that is a very useful graphic. Take the point that with that many left it will take a long while, or I need to up my budget.

Seen a couple of very low mileage examples on autotrader and PistonHeads but they are circa £25k, which is more than I wanted to spend.
