4 pot turbo, transverse mounted, won't be bad, but vs an 8000rpm NA straight 6?
Sit a fair bit higher in that too, which I'm not keen on at all in a sports car...
Origins in a fwd Golf hatchback, rather than in a rwd sports saloon...
It will be good no doubt, but you couldn't even compare the M Z4 and TT RS in my view, as if one were on my radar then the other wouldn't be, or if they were both considerations then the strengths of one or the other wouldn't be where you would be comparing imho (ie, power, 0-60, etc)
Ie, my workmate had the offer of a 340bhp old shape TT Roadster with lots of uprated everything for less than he paid for his new Z4 3.0, a very capable car, but just a totally different type of car to the Z4...
