Z4m removable hardtop

Hi there guys,

I am very very close to buying a 2006 z4m which I drove last week and immediately fell in love with.

Problem is, I have no garage, and live in the UK - Bristol to be more specific and I reckon I would need a removable hardtop. Purely for deteroriation protection from the elements as opposed to security.

Does a regular z4 hard top fit a z4m??

Also, does a spare wheel normally come with a z4m roadster? If so, where?!?

Z4 hard tops fit all models.

no spare you should have a can of gunk and a compressor in the boot

Plenty of roadsters with soft tops that have lasted 12 years! If you carry a spare you'll probably end up putting it on the passenger seat

A hard top isn't essential. The fact that it's parked outside is best solved with a cover. The hard tops are the same for ///Ms.

Biggest thing with car being parked outside is to keep your drain holes clean - lots,of posts on that.

Lasted 12 yrs outside??

First models came out in 2003 - they're certainly not all garaged or covered.

Half top cover for £45 for the winter months should do it, mine's out all year cos I don't have a garage. I will apply a BMW treatment for soft tops before winter too.
