Z4M rally car?

Interesting to see a rally version rather than the GTR race car, I think I've only seen one other rally car. I would guess the softer suspension would accommodate the road sections as it isn't a race track. Goes and sounds very well with that straight cut gearbox, anymore competition cars out there?

That first section is more like an autotest than a rally. Maybe it's what would be a Gymkhana/Targa Rally in the UK? I'm hoping to do some Targa Rallies this year (*not* in the Z4).

The suspension setup looks very good, set up just as rallgist would do it..
I dont think that body roll bothered the driver - instead of thos one obvious mistake car almost didnt understeer, and most of the corners were passed with slight oversteer

Fantastic,a good change from your usual subaru/lancia/peogeot stuff, a well set up z4 can make a great tarmac stage rallycar but does not have adequate clearance for forest/off road stages really.

That last part I don't know. There are also reasonable succesful rallyteams that run a nissan 370z. That's comparative I think. (I have even seen a gallardo rallycar  )
Also there is no reason why a z4 should have less ground clearance that for example a 3 series. They are the same suspension-wise. It's just a matter of longer struts or a higher spring setting. No big deal to fit when preparing a rallycar I think.
The big difference is that the z4 is fwd only, and the wrc like subary/peugeot etc are 4wd. (group n style cars it's different of course)
