Wow - Congratulations

Good job mines a keeper really. I must admit it's very tempted to buy a 'credit crunch' supercar to go with it though :driving:
Not a supercar, but if you look at a Porsche Cayman sport (equivalent to a z4M) they are holding their prices well! Around £32,000 for an '06! Wonder why the Z4M or to that matter, Z4's have gone down so sharply? :?

Nissan GT-R in 2010 will be a bargain (I predict!) :)

There's about 15 on Autotrader (55 and 06 plates) for less than £30k, you can bet most of them will have been the thick end of £50k+ when new, so I don't think it is doing any better in reality. In real terms you'd probably have lost an equal amount on a Cayman as a Z4M.

BMW dealer near me has an 07 Porsche Cayman S with 7000 mile on it for $46,995. It's been on their list since May. I'm not sure about the UK, bet here a Cayman S goes from $60 -$70k new.

Same dealer has sold 3 used Z4M's in that time period I've seen for over $40k.

I just spec'ed a Caymen up I near as I could get to the spec of my car and got to £56k+, that's still over £20k in 2 years.

Depends....If enough speculators jump in there and catch a cold it could well be. I think it will be similar to the R8 which seems to have just lost it's 'must have ' status and is rapidly shedding money now.

Top pup, I'm sure that after a year between all the early adopters, speculators, etc supply will be exceeding demand. Also, some people will get a shock at the running costs which I'm sure will be horrendous, and take a few by surprise.

Bought my brand new Z4M, Interlagos Blue, Nav, Black interior, + lots of other toys for 36k from a dealer who had had it in the showroom for a while. That's a £11k discount.

I thought about second hand but I'm planning to keep it a while now with this economy crap so don't feel too bad about it. I spent the best part of a grand on a proper stereo (Rainbow iPaul Amp and Rainbow speakers) and it feels like my car now. Along with a titanium gear knob that's all I've done to it.

Totally love the car and although it doesn't have the badge factor of my 05 Boxster or 03 GT3, it's a very usable every day car and is just amazing to drive.

I don't think anything with more than a 1.2 engine is holding it's value at the moment - time to grab a bargain if you can afford it :)
