z4m or 3.0si coupe wanted

Odd choice :? one being at least double the spend of the other & considerably more expensive to daily drive ( ved - mpg - servicing etc )

I’ve a Z 4 M coupe I’m thinking of letting go as not getting much use ,IMola red with cream leather interior ect,wots your budget as it’s only done 55000 miles so it ain’t cheap

hopefully not an odd choice as its a z4 forum!?

basically, i'd get which car comes along and floats my boat.

Yes its a Z4 forum but scroll back 10 yrs & you will be unlikely to find any newbie joining up with your criteria hence my comment .
Usually budget & useage dictate a car choice , the S54 & n52 are differ greatly in all things barring trim & body .
Anyhow your search is over :oops: as nice as they come https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=124347

ha! I did see that, there's a few around, so going to see what there is before jumping onto one.

Well if its a ZMC that you opt for there hasn't been a better time to be a buyer in my forum time , currently on the back foot pricewise & never had as many for sale to choose from , guess you've seen this one too ?

This one looks pretty

Far too spendy though.

Buy it and sell the wheels and airbox for £3k.

Well firstly welcome to the forum OP. :thumbsup:

And at least IMHO there is no wrong answer!

But now that I have owned both I can't help thinking that I wouldn't be able to enjoy an M very much as a daily, crawling around in rush hour traffic and stop/start driving.

Although if your daily driving consists of quiet twisty roads it would be great, assuming you don't mind spending a fair bit more on most running costs.

I would suggest it might be worth trying to get a test drive in both, but as I found out a test drive in an M is likely to just make you want one. :lol:

Hi testingtesting.

I am the lucky owner of a Z4M which I will be selling in 4 to 5 months time.

Below are details about the car:

a) E86, Z4M S54 3.2 (48k miles), 1 careful owner (me);

b) Black Sapphire (metallic exterior);

c) Individual Imola Red/Anthracite interior;

d) Optional extras include electric folding exterior mirrors, park distance control, BMW 6 disc CD changer, tracker (Monitor);

e) Condition - good (just fitted a new alternator);

f) Service History - BMW dealership for first 5 years and Independent Specialist since (complete file available with all service history information contained within).

I am looking for £18k but would be willing to negotiate a little.

Hi Jeremy,

Just put an ad up in the “buy and sell” section of the forum, then everyone will see it. A one owner sub-50k car at that price is bound to get some interest. Don’t forget to include pictures.

GLWTS :thumbsup:
Ben
