A few pictures of my car after i cleaned up the hubs and fitted the new wheels. The sizes are 8.5 x 19 ET 35 fronts and 10 x 19 ET 20 Rear.

Ill post up in the detailing section soon on how i did my hubs if its useful to anybody :)
 
The H&S exhausts are epic, highly recommended. Next on my list are a Gruppe M and possibly Aero skirts but in due time.

I was planning on switching to a coupe in the future but I really like the carbon black with red interior especially with the wheels it looks almost perfect in the flesh. Initially I didn't want a dark colour either or dark alloys on a dark car but I'm fully converted as the Carbon Black looks navy blueish in the sun and the wheels are so deep that the details stand out regardless.

The hubs and discs also look better now as a result :thumbsup:

Which h and s did u go for? Isnt there two on their website? And how much was it? 800 ish?
 
Looks great... Perfect fit... And in some of the pics your car does look navy blue!

Prob with 19's though... They really emphasise the arch gap... So need a drop!

Not sure on the H&S as I got the back boxes second hand off here and then cleaned them up.

As for lowering it looks lower with the 19's but that may be just illusion due to the colour. Either way as I am in London a lot that's a non starter.......... I would also say that Michelin PSS are far better in terms of grip than the Vred's although the combo of these wheels and tyres make the ride less crashy, surprising as I was expecting the opposite.

Ill change to Michelins on the back next year probably and then go from there :)

So far my experience of Z ownership has been great fun and the car is improved no end by the mods iv made IMO.

I was tempted to go with CSL's but I prefer the CH's if I'm honest (although many would disagree I imagine).
Ill try and make the next PIstonheads Sunday service (I was at brooklands last week) for anyone that wants to hear the exhaust or look around :D
 
The wheels look great. :thumbsup: I don't usually like wheels with different coloured rings but those look nice. Did you by any chance weighed them?

I don't usually like different coloured lips but it helps break up the dark colours and matches the front grills ;)

I purchased the wheels second hand with tyres so no chance to weigh them, I can weigh them on some scales with tyres if needed as I usually take my wheels off periodically to clean the arches, suspension, inner wheel, etc.

If you remember to weigh them next time they're off it'd be cool. Useful information to have. :thumbsup:
