For sale, a Z4M steering wheel with multi function buttons and with carbon fiber trim. Airbag not included.
Genuine Z4M including the 'M' colour stitching (albeit a bit faded - could do with a decent sympathetic clean.
2 issues with it when I bought it - firstly something odd with the metal plate internall which meant the airbag sat at a slight angle and the horn was sligtly temperamental on one side - this part has now been replaced and all works fine.
Also, the wiring was damaged on arrival - specifically, the 2 wires which attach to the inside of the wheel (one is screwed down, the brown earthing wire - the other is pushed onto a metal pole) and then feed to the yellow connector which goes to the slip ring - both wires have been pulled away from the corresponding pins.
You'll need to swap the wires over from your existing wheel (2 min job) or alternatively solder the 2 wires back onto the 2 pins. See one of the photos below, the 2 feeding wires are highlighted and they go into the outer 2 pins on the yellow connector.
The damaged wires are all included, as is another set of airbag plugs/yellow connector which I had spare from another slip ring I bought a while ago.
Wiring aside, the wheel is in good overall condition, the MFSW buttons light up with the headlights, and compared to the standard skinny wheel it is an absolute joy to use.
The little 'M' emblem from the bottom spoke fell out a couple of weeks ago but will be sent with the wheel.
