My rear badge is fading too though, so I'm keen to go the decal route when I see how it turns out for you guys!
I was talking about the engine badge there - it's a metal foil applied to the engine cover. M badges are stupidly expensive, so just replacing the coloured sticker is a great solution for them!D4dawg said:Mangozac said:I don't think so. They pop out buddy
Simple job if flat head driver down and under
Replaced all badges on my car and makes a massive difference
On that page the stickers look like they have a bit of an "orange peel" texture. Is this not visible when applied?beanitos said:After no luck contacting Steve, I've sourced a guy in the US selling the stickers. Found them via a M3 forum in the US, actual photos before/after with the new stickers look good.

A long way to send some stickers but at US$17 inc shipping I'm happy.

Oh apologies, mate! I was certain that the engine badge was a pressed foil treatment to the engine cover itself and not available separately! Still, the genuine price is a bit much to stomach :/D4dawg said:That's what I mean buddy
It's simply pop out with a screw driver
I just bought the lot from dealer
Not cheap but not putting eBay cheap ones on my car
Sticker over where old lines are sounds good though
