Z4M LSD?

As I understand it, the overall "rear suspension" of the M and non-M are the same. The difference is in the diff and cradle, correct? Therefore, a M cradle and diff could be direct swapped into a non-M, thus providing LSD?
Also, as I understand it, the e86 and e46 M chassis both use the same cradle and diff, correct?
