Z4M headlights

Quick question, why was the black headlight housing never offered as an option on the M variant cars?

I much prefer the look of them, are the black housing headlights available in xenon form? Would they be a straight swap?

Thanks

They were just for halogens and then only up to 2.5. Not sure you could even split them and swap the inners - suspect the apertures would be different.

I prefer the black housing too  Advantage of having one of the junior Zeds. On balance though, I think you're better off.

I must admit, I want to see this happen. I for one, would like to have the darker lens housing on the front lights. Would make the car look more mean, especially on red 8) Will investigate further, just don't want to egg it up and pay for new lights!

So there isnt a facelift, black housed xenon variant at all then? :(

On balance indeed! :D

Think you could be right, I put up a post for a proposed headlight swap on the main forum but not a single reply so they probably dont exist. :(

Oh well, not exactly a big deal! If there is ever a company doing the angel eye conversion in the UK I would just get them to redo the housing matte black.

Hello guys,

Just reading your topic regarding an update of your headlights!

Following link might be the option you were looking for: angels eyes + blacked out headlights ...

Good luck

That's exactly what i'd like but unfortunately it could be prohibitively long winded to ship the lights to LA... maybe if I can pick up a set on the cheap. 8)

i wasnt aware that they werent on the facelift.

you could strip your lights, spray your inners and BINGO. best of both worlds and quite an easy job i would have thought
