Z4M GruppeM

Hi,

My girlfriend has decided that the Z4 is growly enough without my GruppeM air intake so I've decided to put it up for sale. It is approximately 4 months old and was installed for less than 1k miles and is in perfect, unmarked, condition. :driving:

Asking £800 ono including RMSD.

Thanks,

Andy

hi andy... i do understand your high price for this item as its nearly new BUt..... unfortunately i think you'll need to lower the price slightly as its so near the new price. Good luck, maybe post some pics to whet the appetite.

byron.

It's an okay price if you can't wait a month to get one shipped from Australia, otherwise you can order one from there (delivered direct from Gruppe M) for about £750 all in (i.e. AU$931 = £612, plus duty, taxes, delivery).

Edited to say that had I not already found that Simota was doing a similar one for half the price, and paid for it (awaiting a delivery in Sept), then I'd have been quite interested.

Thanks for the replies guys... fair point about the price, I didn't realise you could get them for £750 from Australia.

OK, reduction to £700 which, given it's here in the UK and available to be delivered to your house this week, seems fair!

for a 1k mile item usage... think thats fair.... expensive but fair!! :driving: :driving:

i just got one for less than 400 for the E85 :)

arrives soon. can't wait.

gruppeM, eisenmann race, sound generator with no foam...

OK, unless someone buys this it's going onto eBay (which I REALLY don't want to do) or being turned into some sort of carbon fibre livingroom ornament so price reduction to £650.

argh! would have had this when I came back to the UK last! not been able to find one out here in aus, didn't even realise they came from here?

£650 OK offer made PM sent.

Can't wait to annoy the nabours and scare (even more) old ladies and prampushers / Renault Scenic drivers :D :driving:

:) All installed with no trouble at all ( :D because I didn't do it myself).

I can report it does drastically change the sound with the ACS backboxes.

its very snarlly mid range / under load (there no difference at low revs or start up/ idling. hight rpm it makes little difference to the actual tyope of sound except turning up the volume a little. Feels a little more urgent above 6k too (although that's probably just placebo effect.

Overall I'm surprised by how much it has "denatured" the sound (on my set up) but it certainly has balanced things out very well. I just used to get a very bassy exhaust noise with the ACS backboxes and only hear the induction when at full pelt. Now just underload and I can hear a nice snarly grrr intake sound. Very pleased with the purchase and Andy was very nice to deal with.
