z4m full correction + PPF coverage to entire car.

ok guys, shes DONE... what a week.... but its done. Here's some of the final pics. See my notes below.

* trucked the PPF into the fuel filler area
* excuse rusty rotors i made a big mistake not drying them off with a quick drive on the initial wash, the wheels were locked solid and i had to use the ramp to losen them off but lifting and dropping the car nearly 10 times   whoops i should no better!
* Extremely high level of gloss now the PPF is curing. So pleased with finish.
*oem spinning hub caps added for additional bling.
* thicker PPF to the lower front wings
* Wheels and calipers were polished and coated with Gtechniq c5 wheel armour. This product is great for these high temp areas as it has a raised temp rating of 600 Deg
* Forward facing section of the rear bumper has been wrapped inwards and under in a parcel style for additional hold in this high traffic area, on my car these sections are taking a beating so im glad this is covered. ( not pictured as im at the pic limit)
*Carbon seats were polished and i look forward to receiving the new pads as they swirl / mar up easily.
*lastly im extremely tired now, so got a few days off before i head back to deal with my customer projects.

Hope everyone has enjoyed this process and i guess not many get to see this happen to this platform.

Aim to be cleaning mine this weekend and using the Gtechniq ceramic coating you advised for the bodywork rather than the wheel Armour in your photo. Assume not as good but still OK?

Hi nanu, body and wheel ceramics are different chemicals... the wheel ceramics will only last about a year and is deigned for high heat areas. The body ceramics such as c1, crystal serum light, EXO, Ultra are very different.... C2 v3 is a spray on sealant that is a really watered down version of the full fat ceramics but gives solid water behavior and protection if used regularly and layered. C5 is a great product for wheels, calipers, exhausts and engine bay components.

picked this up this am and she looks well! is it perfect? nope... are my freehand cuts abit squiggly if you really get up-close and personal ? yup ( especially on the arches etc when im trying to to freehand cut one clean curved line etc)... its the nature of the beast unfortunately on these older cars where their are no patterns and what patterns are available aren't great tbh as this era PPF was pretty basic.

thanks guys, im very pleased.... someone walking past my house just now was so impressed hes booked his mustang in for the same treatment!

Final update ....

ONE for the memory bank for sure. It's taken a moment for this to sink in. I knew this was a big deal but didn't understand how difficult it was to get into this particular publication, meaning it was a way bigger deal than I understood, the one people aspire to get into. After speaking with the photographer, It really dawned on me how special this moment was ... The car which is without doubt super special and marrying them together with what we do at the shop has been such a win for them both, this car has been instrumental in helping TW get where it is today and showcased what we can do. This global platform will be featuring our car as such this will see the TW brand put in the spotlight once again. An absolute honor of the highest order. Thanks for everyone that followed this thread! ill update when the magazine in question decides to release the article!

Next up the car will be going to BMW show at santa pod, then its service time, then some track days!
