Z4M front bumper fang protectors

I have a set - brand new never been fitted that came with the car. No idea what sort of money they go for though???

The RPI skidplates are still available. I rang earlier in the year they were £90 and then postage from the USA.

I had these on my M coupe and they were spot on never caught my bumper... On my M Roadster caught it in the first week

I actually caught one of my fang protectors on a high kerb and it ripped the underside of the fang part off the car  :headbang: it was because the fittings I used weren't flush to the plate, the bolts had a rounded head, so I guess they dug into the concrete?

I am interested, not sure on price. It could vary widely depending on manufacturer. Are they made by RPI or unbranded? could be from Dans forum group buy?

No idea - they were just in wrapped up in the boot of the car when I bought it. There doesn't appear to be any branding on them. I can take a picture when I get home if you like.

Ye I swapped mine with a flat washer and countersunk tap ins to make sure it wouldn't catch.

I caught mine on the drive way, the slabs are 12" thick so its not like im going to lift them up and sort and it has a water channel and its not laid flat... check out the clearance and on stock suspension so much for lowering it...  Caught the passenger side :headbang:

Good idea regarding a flush fit, I had not considered the screw heads protruding being an issue. Mine is lowered and while I have not had an issue yet, it will happen at some point.

There was a group buy ages ago where someone just copied the RPI and made a big batch for cheap. They are pretty simple just a plate so if someone had the shape any machine shop could cut them.

When I enquired to RPI it was $35 for shipping $95.31, $60 is still a lot for some powder coated steel plates. They are nice tho but like said have to swap the screws.
