Morning Gentleman

I am the owner of a 2007 Z4M Roadster

In the next 6 to 12 months i plan to start modifying the car

Can some of you please suggest What i should start with 1st and what the best add ons/Extras i should be looking at and what the benefits of the upgrade would be

Many thanks in advance

Stephen

iPod interface assuming you have satnav screen - Intravee the unit to go for with that.

Remote control of roof and one touch module (GapTech).

Engine wise - the list is endless depending on what you are looking for ...

It depends entirely to what end you are modding for?

It's pointless to suggest say a big berake kit if you are interested in cruise control, improved audio, etc.

Second the budget you have. £5 for a stubby aerial of £5k for a supercharger

What kind of driving do you do? An particular driving style?

Would look at a proper big brake kit, Gruppe M, and Nitrons. But then again mines all road use and there is nothing I felt had to be replaced, if I was pure weekend driving or track I would look at the previous mentioned.

I was wanting to upgrade the exhaust what would be the best one to go with and how much

I was also wanting to have the brakes upgraded with the coloured things added behind the wheels are these called caliper (sorry) not very Technical when it comes to cars
what would be the best one to go with and how much

I was also wanting eventually to have some extras under the bonnet but wasn't sure how or where to begin is it small add ons or just 1 big add on when it comes down to this section

Many Thanks

Have a look here for big brake kits, http://www.simpsonmotorsport.co.uk/bmw-tuning/product.asp?id=67&pid=67&cid=7&pcid=12&product=11

Really depends what your budget and end aim is, if you want more noise and a touch more power it could be remap and CAI, if you want an extra 100bhp, your would need to move to forced induction like Beedub on here. Ar eyou looking to spend £1500 or £15,000?

Get yourself to someone like simpsons to talk through options, if you have £20k to throw at the car do it all in one go, if you don't have all that now you have to do it in stages. It's like houses, it would be cheaper overall to buy the massive house first and not move through 4 different houses to get there, but very few of us have the capital up front, so you have to play the longer game...
