Z4M exhaust upgrade suggestions

My car has the RPI exhaust on it. It is very loud! I don't mind it as much around town, however, on the motorway it is very droney.

The BCS backboxes from Powervalve is one of the best I've heard, the video is very much how it sounds on the car.

Worth noting those boxes in that YT clip were the first attempt by BCS.
After 300-400 miles they were swapped for a more refined version which are what would be supplied if you bought a set from them now.

I have the RPI rear boxes and love them. Have read reports that they are too loud when new, but I bought the car this way and they are mellow. If you hit a reverb period at a cruising speed you like just shift up.

I had a Haywood & Scott fitted to my Z4M coupe and hated it, Sounded fantastic but the drone was enough to make my skin crawl.

I then went to the Super sprint Power loops - Sounded great, a lot quieter than the H&S but the drone was still there at a certain rpm it just didn't sit right for me.

Now I believe this is not a problem in the roadsters as the boot is separate, I even added 2 layers of sound deadening to the boot of my coupe but it just didn't dull it down enough for me. So I have gone back to OE.

Just had a pair of Supersprint powerloops delivered bought from a forum member, the quality is top notch, itching to get them on the car which isnt going to happen for a month or two yet but from YouTube vids they sound superb.

Can anyone comment on a CAT delete pipe for the secondary (rear) CAT in terms of both source/price and effect on sound? Already have RPI rear boxes but was pondering whether the deletion of the CAT would make the car objectionably loud. Not interested in deleting the resonator in the middle of the system for that reason.

I run eisenmann race with superprint decats

Its definitely louder but its more of a traditional straight 6 tone rather than bassy like the eisenmann was on its own. Result is in my MR you can't even hear it at 70 on the motorway

Through the revs though its glorious :driving:

I only purchased my MC a few weeks ago, but the RPI is just too loud for me. I am going to take it off next week and put an ad up in the classifieds.

I think Beedub considered cutting off his ears when he was running 100 cell cats with his RPI rear boxes...
