After nearly 2 and a half years of ownership I have decided to sell my beloved Z4M Coupe. The forum has been an invaluable tool for me over the past few years so it’s only right that I offer the sale here (also now on eBay & PistonHeads).
Reason for sale; family commitments have resulted in fewer opportunities for me to drive and to nurture the car. A beautiful beast like this deserves a loving home and a more attentive owner so it would be great to see it go to a forum member.
I will probably end up leasing something quite boring for my occasional commutes and day to day driving. How my priorities have changed!
The car is in very good condition for its age in my opinion.
* Ad updated to include the following - Brand new Rear brake disks and pads (ATE), brand new front pads (ATE).
Spec:
- 2006 / 56
- 80,200k miles (will increase slightly)
- 5 Previous Owners
- Silver Grey
- Light Sepang Bronze Leather interior in excellent condition
- Piano Black Trim (was originally walnut, professionally painted gloss back just before I took ownership in late 2016. A huge improvement and looks fantastic)
- MOT until 12th October
- 2 keys and owner’s manual
- Excellent Service History including running in, 12 service stamps and 4 brake fluid stamps
- INSP1 and valve clearances done 7000 miles ago
- No sat nav which means I have a nice clean dash
- Always use Shell V-Power or Tesco Momentum
Optional Extras:
- Extended Leather
- Cruise Control
- ‘Loudspeaker’ 10 speaker system
- Electric folding wing mirrors
- Heated Electric Memory Seats (I think these may be standard)
- Xenon Headlights (Again, think these are standard)
Work / modifications completed in my ownership:
- Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres fitted November 2016. Plenty of tread left on all 4 corners.
- 19’’ hyper silver CSL reps from ‘CM Wheels’ fitted November 2016. Fonts: 8.5 ET38, Rears: 9.5 ET27. No spacers. Very good condition overall with some minor scratches and marks here and there.
- Front brakes – ATE disks and pads – professionally fitted (Jan 2017)
- Rear brakes – ATE disks, pads and OSF calliper - professionally fitted (April 2019)
- Front brakes – ATE pads - professionally fitted (April 2019)
- Brand new OEM exhaust centre pipe and back boxes imported from Germany and professionally fitted (July 2018).
- While parked another car left a small dink in the passenger side door which was fully restored at ‘Little Knocks’ (Feb 2018)
- Full front bumper re-spray completed by ‘Harpenden Classic & Performance’ to remove unsightly stone chips (July 2018) – Note: Originally had this done by ‘Little Knocks’ in Feb but wasn’t happy with the work so had this redone by ‘Harpenden’.
- New drivers side OEM wing mirror
- New Elring Rocker Cover Gasket – professionally fitted (Oct 2018)
- Dension Gateway 300 installed and housed in glovebox for iPhone / iPod integration (Dec 2016)
- Matt Black kidney grills (2016)
Previous work done according to invoices handed over to me and other things to note:

The last inspection 1 service carried out by CPC Performance Engineering included valve clearances.

As I have not been able to verify the company in question, I suspect that they are not BMW specialists. As such I have my doubts as to whether these were actual inspection services which is why I haven’t included them on the full service history list. All other inspection services have been carried out by well known and respected BWM Specialists.
Issues
- Minor scratches and stone chips in the bodywork in a couple of places, paintwork still in very good condition considering age
- Although in good condition overall, the perfectionists among us may wish to refurb the wheels
- Front headlights could use a detail to bring them back to their best

different paint / leather/trim combo to many of the silver grey , hard to criticise anything about the car or advert but if i had to pick one thing 
the leather looks a little shiney & 20 mins to clean & treat would be worthwhile
