Yes it looks blueish in strong light. Where BMW come up with there colour names is anybodys guess!
I was close to phoning the dealer to double check they had sent me the right car!

What sort of speed?

Over poor road surfaces – at speed or hard acceleration – it will lose its composure as it's got a very stiff chassis.

I'm also finding the car very twitchy !

It has cheap tires on the rear (fitted when purchased) so perhaps this has somthing to do with it .

I'm finding it a bit unstable on dual carriageways where the road sweeps slightly to the left or right.

These cars are very sensitive to tyres and geometry. Make sure you have good tyres at the correct pressures and get it checked out on a Hunter laser alignment equipped specialist. Have a look here for some local ones and a £5 off voucher: http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/

The tyres are continentals on OEM wheels. What wheel pressure would you recommend?

Cheers i'll check that out.

Get used to it bit by bit before opening the taps... Don't go mad and switch off the traction and switch on the sport mode and floor it on day 1. It's an awesome beast :)

It shouldn't be twitchy on the A90 mate. It can be a bit of an animal on b roads sometimes though. My alignment needs done and it really shows but it's always surefooted on the dual carriageway.

Are the tyres new, my Vreds felt horrible until they were run in?

It was on the dual carraigeway between Westhill and Aberdeen. Tyres have plenty of tread but they're not new. I maybe just need to get used to the car first, i've only driven on wet roads so far. What a great car tho! :driving:

Very very sensitive to tyres! Although mine is supreme now and it's about to go in for a geo set up....Hummm...

Got round to fitting my CSL's and take a few photos, still needs a good clean!!
