Hi guys,

Just thought I would try and get a few views on this:-

Just spoken to the guy and it's still for sale. He said he has just lowered the price but still looks too much to me even with the csl's? Last service was the inspection 1, the mot and tax run out at the end of this month.

It pretty much ticks all the boxes for me spec/mileage etc just down to what I think it's worth

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Looks nice, if you took £1000 off for the CSL's value that makes it £17K, in the Market at the moment I'd suggest it's a little high even with the low mileage IMO

I think it's priced about right.
I paid similar money for mine recently with slightly higher mileage.

There isn't a huge choice of nice Mcoup's out there at the moment.

Ps. If it ticks all the boxes, you may have a long wait for another one to come along.

I'm way too impatient.
 
Anyone see Tim Abbott's piece in Straight Six magazine this month? Tips the Z4MC (along with CSL and M Coupe) to be future classic...

I'm a bit picky when it comes to service history and it appears it's missed a brake service? If its every two years then it should have been done about the same time as the inspection 2? I find it strange that if it goes to a main dealer for a service and something like a brake fluid change is due why it isn't done?! Not sure how much of an issue it is though? Details of the history below

Pdi - 1624 miles - 19/06/07
Running In Service - 8609 miles - 04/09/07
Oil Service - 8609 miles - 20/01/09
Inspection1 - 18946 miles - 03/06/11

Next service due in 8800 miles

That running in service is waaaaaay out of the ballpark from what I have read. Thought it had to be 1,200 mile or similar ? Pre-delivery inspection looks wrong, so perhaps he has his history mixed up and that is the running in service ?

The running in service can be done between 1200-1800 miles iirc, maybe the details are mixed up, it hasn't had inspection 2 because it wont need yet anyway. :thumbsup:

A pdi isn't going to have happened at 1600 miles. I'd guess that was the running in service. Definitely worth going through the service book in detail though and make sure it all adds up.

Genuine CSL's are going for silly money, so deduct whatever you'd have been prepared to pay for those, add a little haggling and you're probably not a million miles away from a good deal. If you like the car and the service history checks out, go for it! :thumbsup:

Thanks. The history does check out, it' just appears it didn't have a brake fluid change at the same time as the inspection 1 was done which I believe it should have done based on 2 yearly intervals
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no detramental issues if you don't do the Brake Fluid every two years.
you should do it so the brakes are in order, but it won't actually damage anything.
