Z4M coupe - now sold

I bought mine in Oxford. Over 400 miles to get home, and loved the drive :D

What? This still hasn't sold!

I am surprised, especially at that price.

Totally agree, people have to be prepared to travel for the right car. It's unlikely a good example at a decent price is a mere 10 miles down the road.

Really hope this sells soon... Good Luck!

As previously advised - a well laid out, easy to read and detail rich advert will help sell this

It's far too cheap! Or it's hiding something

Yep.

Staggers me just how much quicker cars seem to sell with an A1 advert.

To be fair Jamiez comment only reflects what's buyers will be thinking.

"If it seems too good to be true..." And all that.

I've tried to help, you either listen or you don't, I'm not wasting my time. Good luck, but help yourself out a bit...

To be fair, If I saw this around a month ago I would have bitten your hand off. I ended up buying a 07 plate Z4MC with 52000 on the clock with not as high spec (and that soon needs Inspec2) and it was £250 quid more expensive than what you are advertising this as.

The too good to be true comment could just be right...

Looks lovely to me, I'd bite your hand off at that price if I was in the market... The only suggestion I have is that you drive it and brake hard a few times then repeat the photographs that show the discs as they look a bit tatty (although I'm sure it's just surface corrosion from atmospheric moisture and the discs are fine)

As a potential buyer, my feedback on this advert is as follows.

IMO.

I don't think it is cheap, it is priced about right to sell in a normal selling time frame considering it doesn't have Nav. Cars can take a few months to shift. the Z is a niche car, and also not having Nav will limits the market further. I bet if you fit nav, then it will sell the next day, or drop the price further to attract someone that would of otherwise waited for a car with Nav and low mileage.

Personally if I was selling this, I would start another ad. Put a range of pics in that include the inside, under the bonnet etc, find out what the optional extra's are and list those clearly. I would not be putting German descriptions in either to confuse matters more. (look at some cars that have sold fast on here and copy the add format basically)

The car looks nice, and has a good spec, also list out the service history clearly with dates, including where they were done. All this should be in the same post and not spread across several pages.

Just trying to help

You may think Nav is crucial, others will disagree

:P

It is not just NAV, it is the missing screen which means:

- Half the board computer functions are missing
- No phone book / phone information on the screen
- Limited iPod integration
- No music integration visible

The Z4M is not a Caterham core sportscar, owners want toys as well - especially when buying second hand you want the most for your money.

Had my car for over 5 years, not missed any of the above for one moment.

Same goes for heated seats, bluetooth & cruise.

Would be gutted to lose the folding mirrors & PDC though :P

Ahh, I don't think I could have everything sorted by then Mike. I have the cash but I'm based in Ireland and I would need to ask plenty of questions and get more pictures etc. What do you reckon?
