The time has come to part with my M coupe. Although much loved I simply don't use it enough with other commitments.

Two keys
Midnight blue with champagne leather
Carbon dash

I can vouch for the history of this car as it was owned by a friend from 2013 and I bought it in 2017. Throughout its life it has been serviced and maintained correctly, with the important inspection 1 and 2 carried out. The valve shims were correctly adjusted and recorded at the inspection 2. The most recent oil service was in April 2019 to keep the lubricant fresh every two years as recommended by BMW. I have a folder full of receipts and paperwork backing up the history.

Summary of service history as follows :
Running in check @1232 miles
Oil service @7281
Inspection 1 @17685
Oil service @29581
Inspection 2 @41875
Oil service @51361
Inspection 1 @54568
Oil service @56797 (April 2019)
Time until next oil service 12,375 miles

New drilled discs and pads were fitted at 54k. New rear coil springs at the same time (original BMW).

All alloys have been refurbished and are as new.
Interior is excellent, all seat bolsters are in excellent condition.
The bodywork is very good. There are some stone chips to the front bumper (show me a Z4 without!) however this is no way detracts from the excellent condition. This car is kept garaged and covered to keep it looking great.

If someone is looking for this colour combination, which is extremely rare and desirable, I can say hand on heart, I would be surprised if you can find a better car out there for the same money.

As such I am asking £20,500 and am open to sensible offers. Located in Surrey.

I am interested, but I think the price is too strong.

I have seen some in great condition around the £19,500 mark from a dealership, I would expect yours to go for less than that as there is no warranty protection etc.

OP it might be worth taking a look at what similar cars are up for, like this one on here:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=122332

Some interesting comments on here however not entirely surprising. This is not my first car or forum membership. I've often seen other owners or enthusiasts in similar forums talk down other adverts.

When I placed the advert I reviewed the selling prices on pistonheads and autotrader like anyone would and it was right in the mix of mileage and condition. Obviously the number of adverts and pricing is dynamic but ultimately there are very few good cars out there now.

Fair enough if you're not in a rush to sell.

Looks pretty nice. The next service should be an Insp 2 - if it's showing due in 12k then that's great - and I'd get an oil service done if you're prepared to say the last one was over a year ago (because it's PH/Z4F).

I don't think it's being talked down, more most cars aren't moving on PH/autotrader but the ones on here that have, at that mileage, have all been 20k ish. Doesn't take much looking on here to work that out.

Now reduced to £21500 on PH. Would be prepared to do a better deal with a forum member.

Interesting that you have dropped the price so quickly - this is an £18-19k car realistically so moving in the right direction

Tbh 20-22k for a sub 60k m coupe is probably in the right ball park at this moment in time.
Like you say, your not in a rush to sell so I would wait for the right buyer to come up.I paid a bit more for mine but it had only 32k on the clock and was the exact spec I spent 2 yrs looking for.
Good luck with the sale

The car has been exceptionally well maintained and looks in great condition, but there are a lot of listings on Auto Trader where private and trade sellers have sky high value expectations. None of them have sold in the last few months.

DK Engineering had one up for £19.5k at a similar mileage and there are additional protections buying through trade.

I am interested at £19k subject to a few questions. What tyres are on it? What condition are they in? What condition is the paint and bodywork in? Any stone chips etc? Has the clutch been changed at any point in its life?

It's amazing the range of pricing on these. Only 6 months ago I'd agree to buy one for £12k on 60 odd thousand miles. Unfortunately I wasn't able to set off as planned the following morning due to a family situation. It sold to another forum member soon after for a couple of grand more so it shows that the right price range will sell quickly. Not saying they should all be cheap as it's due to sellers circumstances but sometimes it seems people want to hold on to the "future classic" idea, ask a lot then struggle to sell.

What z4m coupe with around 60k mi!es goes for £12k??
Show me a link to that one as never seen one that cheap!

It was on ebay advertised for a little bit more at the time. It was just under 70kmiles last summer then a little bit over when sold in December so no not quite apples with apples but for a 13-15 k miles variance still a big price difference. It's owned by someone on the forum now.

Hi mattz4mc, I sent you an email last week. Have you read that message?
