Z4M Coupe....Imola Red,black leather.Carbon dash.

I'm sure you know all that I'm about to say already, but the market will decided the price.

When I sold my 2005 E46 M3 last year I based the price on what I saw others advertised with a similar spec and mileage. This was £11k and I really thought it was worth it. The phone staid silent and did until I'd dropped it to £9.5k. Even then only two people viewed it, but it did sell.

Maybe the car is worth more to you than it is to others, so then it'll just come down to how much you want to move it on.

Though like I said, I'm sure you know all this already.

107 watchers..

What's the % off this forum keeping and eye on it would we guess?

Those are mega numbers , most ive had is just over 1000 views with 60 watchers on my 06 Alfa Brera :o
Current TT listing is at 350 views , 7 watchers after 1 week , generally on ebay listing the final 7 days sees things hot up as it lists top of page
Always hard to shift a niche car up on mles at a sizeable lump of money by comparison to what most folks pay for their daily family runarounds .
Worse case scenario you're stuck with a terrifc motor .
Have you still got the original shoes ?

Yea....

I know i have turned down £13,500 twice now.... So maybe thats what its worth..

Then again,i think it will be worth that next year,i might as well hold onto it and get another years depreciation proof motoring

Sorry Andy...

Typed at the same time..

Still got wheels and tyres.... Still got springs.

Like i said.....I could have sold it numerous times....

Im not accepting £1500 under asking when its the cheapest one in the country..

Every village needs an idiot Gary , just coincidence they all want your car

That's the issue with selling cars privately - dealing with idiots and time wasters. I have sold a few in the past but reluctant to these days - really woudl rather spend my time doing other thing. Some just want to view your car to fill their time - bit like some people who view properties where some just want a nose around.

I remember when I was trying to sell my Si and some guy despite me telling him that a dealer had offered x amount as a trade in he wanted to still offer me a grand less than what the dealer offered. When I questioned it he said "but you don't want to sell it to a dealer to make a profit on do you?".

As if these come up often at auction for £9k - really? especially not in the current market

Tell ya what you do that. I might try and save around £13k for next year

You have to question why would one be in an auction ?

They are flying off forecourts and dealers so no need for one to be in an auction..........unless its fooked of course..

It makes no odds really...

I have have had a bit of a mind shift anyway,so if i dont get close to asking it will stay and maybe try again this time next year...It might even go up in value.....i doubt it though..

Might even put it back to standard over winter, pull the reg plate off it and lower the price..

Many options..

Do it!
Personally, I would return it to std before your next attempt to sell. See what you get for the other stuff then can price the car accordingly - possibly for a quicker sale.

Yea..

I might...

I dare say I might even get a bit more if I do..

If I had a buyer who said put it back to standard and I would give you £xx,xxx for it then that's another thing.

I don't wanna put it standard and then drive it around until I sell it, if I wanted a standard one I would have left it alone... Lol..

I am quite serious! What sort of mileage would you think it will have?

Sounds like you do the same mileage as me!!

If it sells then good luck to ya. But if you keep it another year then I might be interested next year.

wow, you didn't take £13.5k I am surprised.

Especially with your car at 86k....once it breaks through 90k, I think you're going to struggle to get £13k! If you only drive 2k and readvertise @ 88k, you may get 13.5k next year....

put it this way, for £15k or around there, there's two other Z4MCs on the forum now....

the red one I bet the owner would take £15k and the mileage stands at 62k...

the blue one is advertised @ £16500 and miles stand at 52k.....

And they are standard cars..

Once you have put wheels, tyres, suspension , stainless exhausts and private plate then they are not £15,500 and £16,500 cars are they?
That's of course if you where to mod them..

The mods either mean nothing too a prospective buyer or everything ...

Either way... As you say.. I might get £13.5k for it next year. So what's the point of selling it for that now ?

I might get £10k next year.. I might get £15k......

As it stands... It's the cheapest Z4M coupe in the country... Why should I drop the price more?

Depends how quickly someone wants to sell. The owner of the red Z4 M with 62k miles originally wanted £16,995 or £17,995 - (cant remember for sure) *EDIT it was £16,500* as I received an email from them via the forums which at the time I never replied to as they had just joined that same day and thought it was a bit dodgy - but noticed they are still here so all okay in that respect. I think they're more keen to move on hence lower price.A BMW dealer might try and snap that one up but reckon they'd want to pay more like £13k to £14k for that one.

Yea maybe Darren...

Perhaps that's the case, I'm not bothered if mine sells or not.. The bottom won't fall out of the market when there are only 500 or so in the UK, and it won't be shedding thousands of pounds a year..

It can stay as long as it wants ..... Lol...
