I have decided to sell my beloved Z4MC due to a job change. I think I have priced this to sell, however more than happy to discuss.
I have loved and cherished this car for the past 5 years and unfortunately it is time to sell up
My Z4MC was only driven on weekends and very few miles during the week, hence the incredibly low mileage. I averaged around 2 -3K per year. I have changed jobs and I now need to commute 140 miles per day and this car is not ideal for this and I really do not want to put this miles on this beauty. Mind you this car is stunning to drive when the roads are not rammed
It just flies!!!
This car was originally registered as CAT-D when I bought it and this meant I needed to really do my homework on this car prior to me buying it and also investing in specialist advice once I had driven it home. The car was originally registered CAT-D within the first year of its life, due to it needing a bumper, bonnet and headlight. Although I thought this seems that this should not constitute an insurance right off, I discovered the background to this…….. (Must read)
The car was nearly new when it received the damage and the owner was a very valued customer of BMW. At this time of repair work, the body panels were scarce to say the least and the cost of storage for this car was a significant factor at the time. The prohibitive delays of getting panels from BMW, forced the decision to assess the car as an insurance right off and provide the owner with a new car. BMW carried out all of the repair work required and subsequently provided a full RAC assessment. This pack provides very detailed reports on the quality of repair, including measurements down to fractions of millimeters. This also confirms that only the bonnet, bumper and headlight were replaced.
Once I took ownership of the car, I began to fettle and took it to a well respected BMW specialist on the south coast “MVT”. They carried out a full service, plus additional precautionary measures, such as rear diff oil, Vanos filters, clutch fluid and CDV delete.
Some of the other work/improvements I have carried out during my ownership include:
19” CSL reps (4 new tyres with about 1.5k miles, still look new) (£1600)
Supersprint Race exhausts (bought from forum member) (£600)
Eventuri Induction kit (£700)
Eibach lowered suspension
Annual detailing (Fusso coat 12)
Refurbished front brake calipers
I love this car so much and is by far the best car I have ever owned. To this day I still park it, and take a double take of it as I walk away! There has been quite a view reviews recently picking this car as a hidden gem and will only continue to go up in value.
Honest assessment:
There are a couple of very minor car park dings and a couple of very small scratches (general wear and tear) But this is light wear and and tear and is always kept in a garage or carport. I have never parked it outside for extended periods of time. This has meant the paint is still very deep black and looks incredible when cleaned. I also have a car cover for any extended times when I am not using it.
The seat bolsters are almost perfect due to the low mileage. Let me know if you need any further info, or I have omitted anything?
