Hi Guys,

Time has come to start looking for a new home for my Z4M Coupe, so thought I would offer it to someone on the forum. It is in excellent condition for the year and I looked for ages for this one in this spec. I have owned the car for almost 3 years and only selling as I have decided to consolidate my daily and weekend car into one.

Spec:

- 2006 / 06
- 64,900 miles (might increase slightly)
- 3 Previous Owners
- Interlagos Blue Metallic Paint
- Sepang Leather (Cream) interior in great condition
- MOT until July (no advisories on previous MOT)
- 2 keys and owners manuals
- Incredible Service History inc running in, 9 service stamps and 3 brake fluid stamps and invoices from BMW and Specialists only, with INSP2 done around 2000 miles ago (see detail below)
- Detailed by www.refineddetails.co.uk regularly for last 5 years. Car is ceramic coated for paint protection
- No sat nav so a nice clean dash rather than the ugly dated sat nav (IMHO)
- Always run on super unleaded, warmed up and cooled down properly
- Stored in a dry garage with car cover and kept on a trickle charger
- Car has been garaged it's entire life by looks of it and certainly for the last 7 years as I knew the previous owner. No car park dings.
- Private plate not included and will be returned to the original 06 plate

- Nearly New Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres - cost £850 inc fitting
- Eibach Pro Springs (original springs included in sale) - cost £290 inc fitting
- Gruppe M Intake (original intake included in sale) - cost £590 inc fitting
- BCS Powervalve Mufflers Exhaust (original back boxes included in sale) - cost £900 inc fitting
- Rear Carbon lip spoiler (imported from Germany) - cost £280
- BMW ZHP Leather Gearknob - cost £59
- Original 224 18"Alloy Wheels that were refurbed in shadow chrome (grey/silver)
- Matt Black kidney grills (original silver included in sale) - cost £39

I understand that this car was a BMW UK press launch car and was sold twice through BMW Approved used car scheme including to former owner.

- Pre-delivery check - BMW UK (08/06/06)
- Running-in check - BMW UK (900 miles - 23/06/06)
- Minor Service - BMW UK (9192 miles - 03/04/07)
- Minor Service - BMW Sytner (19914 miles - 07/05/09)
- Inspection 1 - ECO Test Bracknell (2011)
- Inspection 2 - Mulgari BMW Specialist (36,500 miles - 10/11/12) Inc Brake Fluid
- Minor Service - JD BMW Specialist (46,870 miles - 31/07/14)
- Inspection 1 - JD BMW Specialist (57,995 miles - 07/12/15) Inc Brake Fluid
- Inspection 2 - DeutschTech BMW Specialist (62,985 - 01/06/17) Inc Brake Fluid

The last service was an inspection 2 inc valve clearances and gearbox/diff oil changes. New brake lines and rear pads fitted. All completed under 2000 miles ago at a total cost of £1,021

Bad bits.....

Being super picky here for the age but there is a small scuff/lacquer peal on bottom of the front driver side fang splitter (easy paint fix), if I was keeping I would probably refurb wheels (but not bad) and rear discs are bit pitted. I would say the car is in excellent condition for its year.

Gorgeous motor 8) forgot just how well those BCS boxes look on the Ms :wink: someone likely to be grinning when they drive this away :driving:
 
:wub: One of the nicest looking IL ones i've seen.

Some things that may help the ad: What's the service history/next due? has it had any preventative engine works?
Perhaps add an interior pic? oh and maybe add a rough location.

GLWTS, i'm starting to get z4mc envy ...again.

I have added the detailed service history logs, pics of all the books and pics of the interior (sorry it needs a clean still). Gonna sell with the GruppeM to save hassle removing it so price updated to include this! It transforms the cars sound!
 
It does look lovely Stu, and well worth the money!

I'll ask for a couple of clarifications, so nobody else has to (and you can moan at one person instead of 12):
  • Does the displayed reg come with it (no)
  • How often has it been tracked (not in current ownership)
  • Any history of rod bearing change (no)
  • Are the Ring & M decals easily removed (already removed)
  • What is the condition of brakes & pads (good)
  • Date of registration (some press cars are on the cheaper VED as they were early March 2006 - other were later and just BMW GB cars) (08-Jun-2006)
 
A mid 60k Zed Coupe... sorry for your impending loss, someone will acquire a cracking car.
 
If you are looking on my Flickr stream some are from when I first purchased in 2016. I quickly got rid of the ring stickers, had it detailed (no marks left) and replaced the hankook tyres. Photos on the advert are from October 2018 before she was locked up in the garage for winter (apart from the interior one which is from 2017....need to clean interior and do a new one of those for the advert)

Never tracked....at least in my ownership. Has been my weekend car and used for long spirited driving on A/B roads mainly. Brake pads are very good and rear's replaced at last service. Front Discs have decent life in them still according to my mechanic, but rear ones are a bit pitted but these were not noted on last MOT as advisory so not ready for change just yet....I had intended to upgrade them before deciding to sell. I also went back through history and couldn't see anything about rod bearings being done so assume they haven't been.

Reg plate will stay with me (unless someone wants to make me an offer.....but it fits my name closely :-) )
 
might just me being selfish but i think the car doesnt get the value it deserves with the modifications.

If you was to return it stock, i would pay good moeny for the oem (if it is oem) spoiler and the boxes.

Just a thought.
 
That's why I am trying the forum first as I would like it to go to an enthusiast who appreciates these mods.

If I have to go fleebay route or AT I will likely put back to standard.....but my old rear boxes are pretty tarnished though so I won't be swapping those out I don't think.

If the spoiler comes off I'll let you know
