Hi guys,
I have a Z4M e85 2007 which i bought 5 years ago.
Last month the cluster started to turn off/on, resetting every 4 seconds, even with ignition switched on.
I took it to a specialized technician, which took the cluster out of the car and made some tests with his equipment.
He found out the problem isnt on its components itself, but on the software/firmware of the cluster.
He said that the firmware is corrupted, and the solution is to get a copy of a new one.
He is looking what he can do, but i thought that maybe you guys can help me
as this is the oracle of the Z.
Im in Brazil and this car is very exclusive here. Rare to find one.
Specially someone who is wiling to dismount it to get the firmware.
Anyone have any idea, besides buying a used cluster just to get the firmware?
is there any site/contact where i can find it?
anyone have an detached used one and could get a copy of it?
