Hi guys,
Just after some advice on brakes.
I've just had an inspection 2 carried out with new front brake lines and fresh brake fluid at RBM. Took the car out today to work and on the way home had to brake quite hard for the first time, the brake performance was absolute crap.
The pedal went a long way down and didn't really bite hard at any point during the stop. I'm able to push the pedal almost all the way to the floor when the car's idling. I've noticed if I pump the brake pedal once before I get on the brake that it performs a bit better and there's feel further up the brake pedal travel but overall it's not brilliant.
It's on PS4S's so not suffering from crap tyres, nothing was mentioned by the garage r.e brakes when I took it in for its service.
What's going on here? Is this a Z4m thing or is mine f00ked?
For reference, I have a modernish CLA diesel estate that almost rips your face off when you brake hard. The Z4M feels like it's on the opposite spectrum.
