Z4m bonnet

OK I have been looking honest but i know someones gonna shoot me down and add the thread..

I have a 2003 3.0 z4 is it possible and easy to change the bonnet to an m, i'm sure hundreds have done it and just wondered if its possible on a preface

I've done it, and it fit no probs but I'm in a '06 coupe and the donor car was an '07 MC. I think the bonnet hinges are different depending on year and model.

It is possible, as mentioned above, others have done it.

If you look at items 9 and 11, lock for hood and catch bracket, there is one on either side.

You still have 15 and 17, hood catch and hood catch end support, not sure if those would suffice?

03..this is my worry plus i guess id have to wire item 9 to release as well as the centre one

Yes, Im afraid the large bonnet just doesn't match the lines carried along the other panels. Poor excuse?

billygilly, nothing wrong with tasteful mods just for the sake of appearance IMO, as long as they ARE tasteful! i reckon z4m bonnet counts

I haven't noticed the difference between the two? Can't find a decent pic that shows this - does anyone have a decent pic of M and non-M, thanks!

I've been wanting the M bonnet aswell but the only place that I could find it is from Mstyle and it costs a packet. Anyone know where to get one?
