Z4M Bonnet Catches

I know Z4M's have 2 bonnet catches - one at each side - as opposed to the standard Zed layouot of a single catch in the centre.

Can someone with an ///M, ideally a coupe, confirm that the centre catch is actually just an empty / blank hole and has no mechanism in it. (I don't mean the emergency safety catch whch is common to all).

Thanks

My 2007 Si coupe has twin catches, one on each side as bonnet hold downs. Other than the center safety catch, there is an open hole in the center. I think this was one of the changes on the facelift cars.

CJ,

Incompatible is correct and my ///M is the same as his Si.
The bonnet locks are on each side and the manual release is in the center.

Thanks guys - sadly no ///M for me.

Just confirms that a car that a ///M coupe that I saw for sale yesterday was in fact a frontal accident damaged repair, which was sufficiently bad to have been rebuilt using a pre facelift front cross member :)

There were several tell tale signs I showed the guys including a new rad cover, slight paint marks where during impact the cross member had moved, but this was the clear 'winner' of using a prefacelift second hand part

Isn't that the one we saw on here a while back taken in some sort of scrap yard? Interlagos I think, we picked a load of holes in it then.

It's Interlagos blue but this one is new on me and for sale by a well known breakers yard. Think rock extraction
