Z4M Bits for sale

doh the induction kit is still available i enquired abt the gruppe m, but sadly its oout of my price range.

can't we just have open prices so we can read the thread and see if it's worth our trouble enquiring, or if we're just living in a pipedream where everything costs a tenner?

Have to say, I was interested in some of the stuff, and scrolled down for a price. Didn't find one, so didn't bother :(

happens a lot, which is probably why I buy from eBay so much...

PM sent matey ;)

Oh and as for the seats, well if you change your mind then feel free to contact me as i'm doing my Z4 as a project car so seats would be ideal :)

Price reduction.

1) M heated Seats £950
2) rear exhaust boxes £200
3) Mid section £150
4) 200 cell OEM cats £250
5) Stock Suspension £250
6) Full brake kit (same as CSL) £300

Those look like fair prices now, and similar to what I was considering offloading some of my OEM parts for... certainly my seats, if I sold them, were going to go up around the £1k mark. And I sold my two rear exhaust cans for £150 each.

If I bought the full brakes would it be advisable to get the suspension too?

What are the front and rear sizes of the brakes?

I dont think the suspension will fit Peddy.

The pricing all depends on what people are prepared to pay and how keen you are to sell. I think you will find a buyer for the seats at those prices as firstly they are black and secondly they are electric.

I was lucky and bought a mint set of M Sport seats from a breakers with extended leather door cards/center console and an MF SteeringWheel from an 09 Zed for 650 pounds. They wernt electric but were heated. Deals are lurking but very rare!

Oh ok. Thanks.

So can anyone confirm that the M brake setup would be suitable for the 3.0 with the sport suspension?

Not sure where the assumption came from that m suspension is not suitable for the 3.0 and would be surprised if this was indeed the case.

Brake system should fit perfect though - I'm biased I know, but why wouldn't it fit.

Not sure... I've been looking at brakes recently and the big boys, Brembo, etc, list different kits for the Z4 (all models) and the Z4M... not sure if it is the fitment of the calliper or the master cylinder but it's worth checking.

I'd approach this from the opposite perspective and assume that it would NOT fit unless I could see good reason why it would. The axle is totally different and narrower requiring different offset wheels to compensate and the whole suspension set up is different. It seems to me better to work from that basis that try to buy/sell and then decide if it fits.

As Pawnsacrifice points out carriers, brake master cylinder for maser/slave ratio all need to be considered.

Though my knowledge has grown since joining this forum I wouldn't have a clue as to how I can find this sort of info out... :tumbleweed:

I'm guessing it's not just the case that if they fit then you're good to go right?

I can confirm this is not possible as it would require extensive work thus not worth it.

From a trusted source...

I have spent some time looking at the differences in suspension & brake mounting parts between
an early Z4 3.0l & a recent Z4M.
The parts are not just bolt on.
Hubs & carriers will likely need changing & thats the least of it.
I reckon that it goes further with master cylinder hydraulic displacement differences.

guess I'll have to stick with the SI brakes I got.
