Z4M (48k, 1 owner)

Hi all.

I am the lucky owner of a Z4M which l will be selling in 4 to 5 months' time (as I am getting a new car). Below are details about the car:

a) E86, Z4M S54 3.2 (48k miles), 1 careful owner (me);

b) Black Sapphire (metallic exterior);

c) Individual Imola Red/Anthracite interior;

d) Optional extras include electric folding exterior mirrors, park distance control, BMW 6 disc CD changer, tracker (Monitor);

e) Condition - good (just fitted new alternator). Needs a replacement centre console trim (for ash tray and lighter), as the hinges have broken on the lid. Also, ///M badges on both wings have faded with age and could do with replacing.

f) Service History - BMW dealership for first 4 years and Independent Specialist since (complete file available with all service history information contained within). Details shown below:

26/09/2008 - Inspection I (BMW Sytner Cardiff),

20/09/2010 - Oil and Brake Fluid Change (BMW Sytner Cardiff);

19/06/2012 - Oil Change (Independent);

08/09/2014 - Oil and Brake Fluid (Independent);

06/11/2014 - Brake Pads and Discs Change (ATS);

22/04/2016 - Major Service (Independent - Europerformance);

10/04/2019 - Inspection II Service, including valve clearance checks, rear diff. oil change (Independent - Europerformance);

09/09/2020 - New Alternator (Independent - Europerformance).

I am looking for £18k but would be willing to negotiate a little on price.

This is a GENUINE SALE, so no time wasters please. Location is South Wales.

Registration is N3 JME (this is a cherished plate which I will be keeping). Car will be re-registered by me prior to sale.

...and maybe why it's not for sale until April/May. If you're wanting somebody to drop a decent wedge on something and commit, I reckon there needs to be a little more background info.

By the initial description, sounds like a good example so far though.

OP: I’d humbly suggest, that ideally - you need to list the Service History, of what’s been completed; when & by whom..

Some potential Buyers & the odd Purist on here, could potentially be put off - by an average or poor service history..
Equally, if it’s a great service history, it’ll enthuse some buyers also, I’m sure :wink:

I have to say my gut reaction was a little too rich for a roady in the current climate but a bit of a bargain for a coop also.

Subject to condition and service history, based on recent adverts I would have expected a 48K mile MC to be worth over £20K.

If I wasn't planning to sell for another 4 or 5 months I don't think I'd post an advert yet, unless it could possibly go sooner. If not I'd hold off advertising for a few months. Just a thought.

Totally agree I would expect about 21-22k depending on condition
