Hi All.

Im looking to pick up a set of CSL's and To reduce the smashing on my wallet im looking to get rid of my z4m wheels and tyres as standard.

Will get some pics up later,

There on contisports and have loads and loads and loads of tread left, so will last for a while.

What they going for, and is anyone intrested?

few small curbs on them, thanks to the missus, and tyres have i would say 5 -6 mm allround on them.

As for value. Im looking for a fair value as I dont no how much they go for,

Wheels with marks are always trickier to sell as a lot of sellers will want them priced to factor in the cost of a refurb. Seeing as 'mint' sets seem to go for upwards of £700, that might give you an idea of what to ask. :)

jesus, i didnt realise they go that much, well i will get some pics up tonight and see what i can do.

Seen them go for anything from £250 to £900 - and whilst some of that variance was down to condition of wheels & tyres, I've also seen identically described sets going for £400-£800.

Just depends on who's looking at the time.

I pressume they are ok as a winter wheel?
The only reason not to use them as winter wheels, is that the winter tyres in the standard sizes are as expensive as summer tyres (about £150 each for fronts, and £200 each for rears).

And careful when quoting tyre treads, as for example, my rears have 6 mm on the outside, but the inside of them is more like 3.5 or so. All the M wheels will be like that.

ok, here goes ladies and gents.

pics below.

Front Drivers side - One small curbing, not even a mm deep, more of a slight brush, could easily be buffed out. as for the amount of tread, please see below, as before approx 6mm all round.

Front Passenger side - this has had a brush against a curb, again not very deep at all and could be rubbed out, about 6 3 - 4 cm curbs

Rear passenger - clean as, no marks or curbs

Rear drivers - one small curb about 2 cm long and very shallow.

As you can see from the tyres, lots of tread left on these bad boys.

when you got your csls did you ever keep a spare set?

I keep my 18s for track use, and CSLs for the road

I'm interested, would like some more detailed pics and tread depths.

What age are the tyres, date and year - four figure combo on side wall

Hey mate.

I will get some more detaield pics tonight for you.

As for age of the tyres i dont have a clue, they were on the car when I bought them back in March.

Im just about to pull the trigger on my new wheels and I willl take 495 for them subject to everything being in order.

As for detaield pics, what would you like to see thats not on the pics in original post?
