Well guys, sad to say but ive sold my Z4 :( I have to drive from aberdeen to nottingham and vice versa and to a town called Tain in the highlands on a regular basis so i needed something 4 wheel drive because of the conditions i reguarly have to drive through. I have replaced the Z with a Nissan Murano, these are a rare 4x4 and have the nissan 350 engine so its no slow coach. It has all the toys including a reversing camera and is very comfortable, but best of all it has a LPG conversion. But ive also bought myself a Z3 project car for a bit of topless summer fun. Its a 2.8 wide body 1999 and it only cost me £1500 but with project mods im nearly at the £4500 mark already........
I can honestly say this is best forum iv ever been on and if you dont mind a non z4 member sticking around..il still be contributing on here.

Get a Z3 project thread! Would love to see your progress!

Sad about the Z4 but you can always get another at a later date

Iv got a thread going on another Z3 forum but its not the community that this place is...not even close :(

congratulations, looking forward to pictures of the both the Murano and the Z3

Thanks guys, ive no pics of the Morano at the mo but here is a link to my project if you want a quick peek..oh the colour is Viper Red with a Gold/Orange flip to catch the curves..changed my mind about the wheels though........

Looks great Hunter

Real shame about the Z4, but the Murano is something I have looked at for when Mrs Bing's car is replaced - great looking motor.

You definitely need to get some pics on here though - taken with a proper camera, without a hangover :poke:

Id deffo recomend the morano, silent, rare, comfortable, great quality. easily as good as my X5 and nearly as good as my Range Rover was.

quirky motor i have looked at but they do like a drink 8) think the LPG a must if doing more than 5k a year .
good luck with the Z project . don,t you think when the ££ are spent you could have funded a Z4 ?

It wasnt about money is was about the ability of driving in snow in the Morano (although i have put 22s on it) and the Z3 is something i dont mind modding quite radicadly and i wouldnt be able to do that with a Z4, there arnt the aftermarket parts for it yet. And to be honest the Z4 is pretty much a perfect looking car anyway...where as the Z3 has plenty of room for improvment...........

An excellent job you are doing on that Z3. Looking forward to seeing the finished article.

Actually, I'd love to see it in the flesh when it's done... Don't suppose you'll be at Z Fest next year if you're not away working ?

The future's bright :poke: Love Murano's , the front end is beautifully aggressive

Its hard to capture but depending on the light, it goes from blood red, to orange to a very metallic copper colour...its much better in real life....

Hunter, that's lovely - you've done a really, really good job

What colour is the interior ?

My eyes, my eyes, I bet that is an awesome colour in the flesh, well done
