Ahh so you took over the front car park on Sunday then! We had a rouge pug and ford so had to go round to the side car park. How was the weather Sunday?

Just home from today's run. Some traffic on the M6 but made it home in pretty good time. Was great to meet more of the forum members and also one of the moderators! Some beautiful scenery, despite the lame weather - I could really take in some of the scenery being a passenger! :)
Thanks to the organisers, my chauffeur :D and good company last night and today.

craig3.0,

I would have love to join only my Z cannot swim :) Happy Travels all :) :driving: :)

Cheers from Canada

Had a great day today! :D Thank you to Craig and John for organising it and to everyone else that made us feel welcome on my first meet, it was good to meet you all. It was a shame we had as much rain earlier in the day, but the ones that left after lunch missed a great drive after the weather cleared up :D

Well that's the first day completed, great roads and organisation again (thanks John & Craig! ) and car's washed for the next day (didn't treat it to the full Tweed - more like a half-Siftah). Here's a couple of snaps before I retire to the beer fridge...

*snigger*

Brilliant, love that.

Just back and had a much needed cuppa... Thanks to all for a sterling weekend (pardon the pun)... Especially Craig & John for the hours of hard work they put in to bring it all together so well!

Only got a few photos (was too busy polishing :p), but will post them once I've had a chance to blank number plates etc.

Ps. Sk93: you wouldn't believe the amount of people who drove right up my chuff on the way home, trying to read the back of my car! Git! :x

Criag - John,

Thanks for organising. Fantastic weekend  Great weather Saturday, routes and company, Shame I had to veer off mid morning, but good news was it was sunny on the way home :)

Will sort some shots when I get time. and seewhat I can find different to those already posted.

Just finished washing the car! Well couldn't put her away dirty :) .

A bit tired after fronting two days driving but really enjoyed it and as usual all the people who attended seemed to get along and have a good laugh.

Saturday was great scenery and great weather. Sunday turned very wet but perhaps the best driving was after lunch on the Buttertubs and on to Kirkby Stephen, then the drive back to Ingleton was epic with hardly a car on the road for nearly 40 miles and the rain stopped!
Big thanks to Craig for organising this, hope we can do it again next year

Also back home and safe - feeling a little "spangled".

Can't even begin to describe - awesome weekend. We had stunning weather on the Friday and Saturday which made camping a pleasure and the BBQ's even better. The drives around the lakes on Saturday combined with the weather resulted in amazing views (Buttermere springs to mind especially) - great routes and organisation by Craig and John, we all stayed together very well which made it especially relaxing and enjoyable.

Sunday we had a bit of rain, but for my money it just made that fast blast over Butter Tubs even more fun - lots of arse-end slides and forboding, dramatic skies overhead. Stopping to get the roofs up and down in-between down pours gave a chance for a quick breather and then another opportunity to hear a bunch of Z4's do the 0-60 dash and bounce of the rev limiter in... well, most of their gears ;)

And the people - great to see some of you again and great to meet more of you! Only sorry I didn't get chance to have a proper chat with everyone (I know there's lots of you I didn't get a chance to talk to!)

Some highlights;
- Those ducks and the brave one who sat on Tweeds uber-polished bonnet!
- The war of the BBQ's, ours was definitely hotter!
- Spotting SK93 sleeping out in the open on the campsite at 4am (I checked for his wallet but he'd locked it in the car!)
- The rather nice police officer, who didn't arrest us, despite looking dodgy.
- The runs - both great, Buttermere, ButterTubs and that fast blast back to Crooklands on Sunday were especially great.
- Aebous's Whisky, which kept us warm long after the BBQ had gone out!

Same time next weekend? (I can't wait for next year)

Doh - I noticed the rain slowing down as soon as I left after lunch, and I hoped that meant you had a good run over the moors, even if I had missed a bit. I made do with ragging through to Masham with an enthusiastic Golf GTI - Great fun showing him what difference the extra horses make! Until next time. :D

Sounds good to me :D

+1, but next time I'll join in as you hit Skipton, then you can extend the route a little to include a pitstop at Harry Ramsden's in Guiseley, I hear the locals are friendly
