Craig / John,
Do you have a confirmed list of runners and riders, or are you playing it by ear?
Any chance of a PM with the route so I can get my eye in?

p.s. Taz can't come (not sure if you'd picked that up!)

Haha, nah no idea who's coming

Yeah,no worries;i have a constant update(written),of who can and cant make it,who has confirmed they are DEFINITES,and who is coming for the Sat or Sun drives only/who is staying, etc and what model of z4 they have(for those that have it shown on posts),so i know who to look out for on each day, which i will print b4 friday, and give a copy to John also, who's been helping organise things with me. the post on pg15 also has who is confirmed as defnts, etc

As for the routes,u will need to pm John for that,as i will not have my copy till i get there.
Hope that puts any worry aside for u guiseley, lol

John sent me the routes to check over and map into google... Which I've half done, but work suddenly got very busy, so haven't had chance to finish yet.

As soon as I do, and John confirms I got it right, I'll pm you (and everyone else who's confirmed) links

Finally got around to booking into The Crooklands on Saturday night. I've no problem mingling with the riff-raff on the camp site for the BBQ though. :D

We'll be arriving early Saturday morning so will be joining in with both runs. See you all there!

2 days and I'll be there mid afternoon :)

Only downside is the journey is door to door motorway except for 1.8 miles. Might detour via some country routes

I'm assuming your going on the Friday, and will be driving up along the M6?

If so, I'm leaving Nottingham at around 12:30, so I was wondering if you fancied a bit of a Convoy as we're not too far apart?

For sure. I'd expect to be 'off' around that time. My basic route would be M6T and M6 door to door, but can easily shoot due North to the A50 or further??

Can take off line an PM

Getting closer...looking forward to this now :driving:

I'll spend Saturday cleaning it as I'm only coming for the Sunday.

can't wait :)

Spent last night sorting out the camping equiptment and cleaning bits of the Zed I'd long forgotten existed lol.

Weather looking great for Saturday and getting better for Sunday. May rain Saturday night though, hope those £5 tents are waterproof! :)

Just a reminder if your travelling up on the morning get there promptly please so we can get away on time.

You seem to have everything covered, good work on the weather again! Sun for the drive and soft ground for the tent pegs when I arrive Saturday night.

Sk93, you do realise the perils of driving up with CJ, you'll have a long shopping list by the time you get there :P

CJ, check him for tools, or awake Saturday with a bald rear end. Of the car that is.

Pawn... why'd you have to go warn him???

I followed CJ at the last meet we went to, and trust me when I say I've already stolen several of his ideas - just waiting for the last bits to arrive before actually attempt it 8)

Ha ha - steal all the ideas you lot want. Then show me how it could have been done better, just leave your socket sets at home :)

Biggest worry now is breakfast - take gear and cook my own, or find a cafe....

Hi all, I'm going to be coming up on Saturday with 'Pawnsacrifice' Matt as passenger and he's very kindly putting me up as a lodger in the tent. I don't want miss out on campsite fun with the group and a beautiful drive on Sunday. Hope you guys don't mind a female busting in on the camping. :)

Makes it more sporting :P Actually, you could wait until he's asleep and then push the car around to the cool camp site and use Aebous's tent as a chop shop.

Sounds intriguing!

With so many different cars there I suspect many of us will come away with a shopping list

Is that aimed at me? :poke:

Don't worry, I haven't arranged to go out on Saturday night and I will be getting up at 7am to leave the house before 8.
