FWIW I bought my proper (as in manual!) Z4C in May with 78K miles for around your wbac valuation! They must have been feeling generous that day, or desperate for stock for their auction........

Hmm. I have been looking for something along those lines for a while. And the wbac value is what I would expect to pay privately, for a highly spec'd car. £10k is more like a trade sale price, with warranties etc.

Without seeing your full spec , history & pics Id say £8500 was more than generous & doubt you would get any interest at £10k & possibly struggle until under £9k

Also monitor the WBAC values as they often fluctuate both up & down from week to week

Just going on the basis that manuals are 2 a penny and therefore worth less than semi autos. Simple economics really. The cheapest i can find with same spec, full history etc. is over 10k. And that's without xenons. Maybe yours was cheap for a reason

I use a saris bones, it's totally secure but has left marks on the bootlid where the metal hooks attach, it'll probably polish out though. If your frame is short enough, it should drop into the boot, my old one did but not the new one.

Cut up sections of an old bike innertube and slide over the hooks to protect paintwork. Adds security, protects paint while still fitting in panel gaps.
