Z4C Progress

Hi all,

I've been lurking on this forum for quite some time and in fact managed to find my Z4C from an existing member. I thought I'd introduce the car...

It's an 08 3.0Si Sport Auto Coupe in Silver Grey, there's a subtle difference between this and Stratus Grey but it's not always clear to see in pictures. It came with 108's which I still have, will keep these for now as they are in good condition and I may put them back on if I ever come to sell the car - I've since had twins now so it could happen sooner rather than later(!)

The car has always been looked after and I intend to keep it that way during my ownership, it was garaged until recently but I've moved and sadly no longer have that luxury. The car currently sits on 24k miles and is used sparingly but I'm hoping that will change soon...

Since owning the car I've had the following work and maintenance completed @ RBM:

Inspection 2 Service
Auto Gearbox Full Service
CAT Sensors Replaced
Brake Pads changed
Handbrake fixed
Door lock mechanism fixed

I've also completed the following 'mods'/aesthetic work:

Professional Detail (Interior/Exterior/Engine Bay) and Ceramic Coating
Stubby (I'm not sure on which I prefer though...)
Front Bumper repainted
Number Plate Plinth painted in body colour
Veemann FS34's with MPS4's
Eibach Springs
Bluetooth dongle installed
Salberk Front Grilles

Items for this year:

Audio: it has Sat Nav with 6 speaker setup which doesn't sound great to say the least. I'll upgrade the speakers and leave the head unit as it is; whilst I used to be a dab hand with car audio it's been some time since I messed around with it so I may just look to hand it over to a shop to get the work done. If anyone know's a good audio place close to NW London please let me know!
Tints: Rear window and panels.

Items I've considered (but will likely pass on):

Wrap: I've thought about wrapping the front lip in black gloss and also the roof, controversial but I think it looks nice.
Seats: I've thought about getting a retrim on many occasions but for now this is on the back burner.

Hi and welcome to Coupe ownership.

Your car looks great, and at that mileage it's barely run in!

Congratulations on your twins - best get some miles on your car as soon as possible. :driving:

Thanks Will, Ross at RBM said it's a superb example so credit to you and all previous owners for looking after it!
